Alicia Carmody sparked breakup rumors on her Instagram Story on Friday.
Before quickly deleting her cryptic messages, in which she suggested that her longtime boyfriend, Billy Kitsilis, had been taking her money without asking, and that someone was using her image and story to make money off of her, the Real Housewives of Rhode Island star convinced fans that she was ready to leave her relationship.
“Asking for a friend? Do you think if it’s OK if your spouse takes your money and pay bills without asking and you never see your money or your check?” Alicia asked in her first of two posts on May 15, via Sutton’s Roller on X.

Then, in a second post, which has also been deleted, she continued, “Asking for a friend, do you think it’s a normal for for someone to put your face and use your image and story for a business that you don’t see a dollar from?”

After Sutton’s Roller posted the screenshots on X, fans weighed in, many of whom were convinced that both of her messages were about Billy.
“Relationship problems?! We need [Andy Cohen] and a camera!” one person declared.
“She’s gonna leave him omg yaaaaassss,” said another.
“She lives in a common-law marriage state. They’ve been together 10 years even if she leaves she still gets half,” posted a third.
Others shared excitement over a “single Alicia” on RHORI season two as they noted that they hoped that she could see her “value and worth.”
“This is a big issue … she needs to get smarter and the money she makes from housewives needs to be in a separate account… no more acting dumb about stuff,” another X user stated.
During an episode of Watch What Happens Live at the end of last month, Alicia, who previously expressed frustration with her name not being on the house that she lives in with Billy and their daughter, Celina, was asked if he gave her an allowance.
“[Billy] gives me credit cards. I just like cash in the house. I like a wad of cash. I hate that I have to ask him. I feel like every Friday, you restock that cash. I want it in the house in the drawer,” Alicia shared on the April 19 episode of WWHL.
Then, in regard to why she hadn’t yet married Billy, she added. “I kind of felt like after not getting my name on the house, I was like, kind of like vindictive, like, ‘Okay, so you can’t have me.’ But I’m not leaving. He’s the best guy. Where am I going?”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
