Alicia Carmody explained her financial situation with boyfriend Billy Kitsilis while appearing on Sunday night’s Watch What Happens Live.
As she also commented on a rumor suggesting that Rulla Pontarelli‘s husband, Brian Pontarelli, met Rulla while married to her Spanish teacher from high school, explained why she labeled Rosie DiMare as a “snake,” and reflected on a time in which she ran over a woman, the Real Housewives of Rhode Island star revealed if she regretted mentioning Liz McGraw‘s situation with Dino Guilmette and admitted to being vindictive after Billy failed to put her name on their home.
“[Billy] gives me credit cards. I just like cash in the house. I like a wad of cash. I hate that I have to ask him. I feel like every Friday, you restock that cash. I want it in the house in the drawer,” Alicia shared on the April 19 episode of WWHL.
As for why she was dragging her feet on getting married, Alicia confessed to acting out due to the title of their home.
“I kind of felt like after not getting my name on the house, I was like, kind of like vindictive, like, ‘Okay, so you can’t have me,'” she explained. “But I’m not leaving. He’s the best guy. Where am I going?”
Moving on to Brian, Alicia said it was a “small world” as she commented on his relationship with her teacher.
“That’s the rumor. That’s like, 90% true … I was like, ‘Were you married to my Spanish teacher?’ [Brian’s] like, ‘Yes.’ I said, ’She’s great. Thank you.’ But I never got into [the potential overlap],” she noted.
According to Alicia, she believes that Rulla has stayed committed to Brian, despite his past indiscretion, because she “loves her family.”
“I think she chose her family, and that’s what she did for her vows, so she’s taking that seriously and she’ll fight. She’s fighting for the people she loves, and hopefully they win,” Alicia said.
Reflecting on Sunday’s episode of RHORI, Alicia addressed how Rosie spilled the beans to Liz about her feelings on her anger.
“A lot of things were cut out. I was talking nicely about Liz a little bit, and then Rosie didn’t say the nice things. So that’s why I was like, ‘You’re a snake,’” she explained. “I love my Rosie to death. But I felt like, ‘You threw me under the bus. I had your back this entire season. You kind of threw me the second you could.’”
Alicia then spoke of running a woman over.
“She dove [in front of my car] and I just was driving so what was I gonna do?” she asked. “I wasn’t driving, and then I hit her. And then I actually had to chase her, by the way, they went to the hospital. It was a whole situation. She was fine. It was mission impossible a little bit. She did go through the windshield, just a little bit. She cracked it … It was tragic for me. She wanted to leave. I was like, ‘You can’t. You could have a brain injury,’ but she’s fine.”
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Alicia was asked if she regretted bringing up the Dino situation, or if it was worth it since Liz opened up.
“I felt like it was obviously gonna be me and obviously knew that that never happened, but I had to do it because I felt like we all were questioning it and it was my job to put my sh*t on the table and do it,” she replied.
Then, Alicia revealed whether she felt RHORI was a true representation of her home state.
“I think everyone in Rhode Island loves it right now because they’re like, ’Thank God.’ They wanted to see what was going to happen because we’re so protective of our small state. We love it, and so it’s so beautiful how you guys did it,” she confirmed.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
