Liz McGraw explained why she was so upset with Kelsey Swanson for mentioning Dino Guilmette on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island while appearing on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

As she also revealed that Kelsey once dated Dino, shared if she thought Kelsey was in love with her boyfriend, and reacted to Alicia Carmody bringing up the ongoing rumors regarding the nature of her and Dino’s relationship, Liz spoke of Rulla Pontarelli‘s husband, Brian Pontarelli, revealed if Rulla apologized for her shady comments about her not having biological children, and more.

On the April 12 episode of WWHL, Liz, who was making her Clubhouse debut, admitted to “fearing” that rumors about her supposedly inappropriate relationship with Dino would surface, and she said she hoped to shut them down with her husband, Gerry McGraw.

“I just wanted to face it, so after several tequilas and romanticizing a moment, I wanted to go, ‘Cheers, Gerry, the camera’s on me. Let’s show our story. Get Dino here,’” she recalled. “I just wanted to maybe like shut it down right there and never have to speak about it again. So I mean, you know, I was romanticizing a moment because I was drunk.”

As for Kelsey trying to stop her, which prompted her to tell her to “f*ck off,” Liz suspected her co-star “meant well.”

“However, she seemed a little arrogant in it, and I’m like, ‘Why are you saying this? You know me better than anyone,’” she noted.

Liz also explained her relationship with Dino, noting that she and Gerry had met him together and insisting they never dated. She also said she was never tempted to cheat, as she explained that Gerry had requested Dino look after her “several times.”

She then said that Dino is like an uncle to her daughters, as she explained what a night out with him consisted of.

“Lots of booze, laughing, him trying to score young girls,” she revealed.

According to Liz, Dino has dated tons of her friends, including Kelsey.

“Yes, they did,” she confirmed.

Also on Kelsey’s love life, Liz was questioned about whether her friend was in love with her boyfriend, who is rumored to be John Caprio, or the lifestyle.

“I think both,” she admitted.

Moving on to Alicia, who brought up the Dino rumor at a winery, Liz said she wasn’t bothered.

“It may seem as though it did, but it did not bother me this much. And by the way, we’re on a reality TV show. I expected it to happen. Was it ideal? No. Did it come out of left field? Yeah, but did it bother me? No. I was more concerned in letting her know we’re okay,” she reasoned.

Moving on to Rulla, Liz reacted to her co-star saying, “When the cat’s away, the mouse will play,” in regard to Gerry, seemingly in response to her bringing up Brian’s cheating.

“I only came into this trying to warn Rulla, give her a heads up, talk to her about what was being said. I was being a girls’ girl. I never came into it trying to attack her in any way,” she stated. “She said I shared, I never shared anything with Rulla, so I mean, maybe she witnessed things, but bring on what I shared with you because we’re coming from two very different places.”

As for whether Rulla apologized for the shady comment about Liz not having her own kids, Liz claimed, “In that scene she did, never after that, nor did she thank me for introducing her to the group.”

On the WWHL: After Show, Liz was asked what advice Dolores Catania gave her that she valued most going into filming.

“Dolores really gave me only one piece of advice from the beginning,” she replied. “She said, ‘Just be yourself. You can’t lose.’ Well, in hindsight, I might have lost a little through myself, but I did hold true to that, or I tried anyway.”

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
