Kelly Dodd accused Shannon Beador of being a Trump supporter, as she shaded Andy Cohen. The Real Housewives of Orange County star also shared where she went wrong in her parenting with her daughter, Jolie Dodd, amid their recent feud.
Years ago, on a past season of RHOC, Kelly insulted Shannon at The Quiet Woman restaurant, before Shannon yelled out in the restaurant to call Kelly a “f**king b**ch.” Before Kelly’s firing from the show, the star publicly revealed her conservative views. Since then, she’s suggested multiple times that she was punished for discussing her politics.
In a June 6 Instagram video, Kelly reacted to Andy and Shannon’s recent post reenacting the infamous Quiet Woman fight.
“So let me get this straight… Andy and Shannon are STILL talking about one of my iconic RHOC scenes years later? 😂 For people who supposedly don’t think about me, I seem to be living rent-free in their heads,” said Kelly in the caption. “And if you’re going to lecture everyone about politics while picking and choosing who gets judged based on their views… well, that’s a little hypocritical, don’t you think?”
“I haven’t been on this show for six years. It’s kind of funny. Andy Cohen comes to my town and he recreates one of my iconic scenes. Kind of seems like they miss me a little bit,” she said in the video. “And by the way, Shannon Beador is a Trump supporter. Facts.”
Around the same time, Kelly shared where she went wrong in her parenting with Jolie amid their feud.
“I was a hard a**. I’m strict,” said Kelly on Hate to Break It to Ya with Jamie Kennedy. “And my daughter didn’t like the rules, and right now she’s rebelling. She’s a sophomore in college in Paris, France, getting woke, getting indoctrinated.”
“[Kids] get brainwashed in college,” she added. “[She’s] completely changed. … She just argues, argues [about politics], and she won’t let you talk, and she won’t listen. … So we got in a fight, and she went to her dad’s. And she hasn’t lived with her dad ever. She’s always lived with me. I raised her by myself almost.”
