On the latest season of The Real Housewives of New York City, one of the breakout stars is undeniably Hailey Glassman.
On the show, Hailey, 39, openly discussed her controversial relationship with Jon Gosselin years ago, insisting her mother encouraged it and wanted her to date Jon.
Over the weekend, a clip was released of Hailey’s mother, Lauren Glassman, being interviewed for an upcoming episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Kim DePaola‘s Get Real With Kim D podcast. The episode drops this Saturday on her Patreon.
In the clip, Lauren noted it “was like the death” of her daughter.
“I can’t believe this kind of betrayal came from my child,” she continued, regarding what Hailey has said about her. “I mean, is it a new phenomenon that Hailey goes around bad-mouthing me? No… If I didn’t buy her what she wanted or do what she wanted, she would go around New City bad-mouthing me to her friends’ parents. I know that. But no matter what she ever did to me, she always came back and apologized… and I’d forgive her.”
“This is a tough one to go on national, international TV and make your storyline your mother, which I am not going to agree to, to say that that’s true, ” she added. “It is not true. It is far from the truth. Far from the truth.”
In the wake of the clip, an insider exclusively spoke to Reality Blurb about the conversation with Lauren and Hailey’s father, Dr. Larry Glassman.
“The conversation with Hailey’s parents allegedly reveals her to be a ‘complete fraud,’” they stated, alleging she’s “not who she represents on the show.”
“Both Hailey’s parents were interviewed,” the insider continued, “and there were some shocking revelations they made about Hailey.”
“One was that her story about Jon Gosselin and how they met is completely fabricated,” the source specifically noted. “They shared they didn’t pressure Hailey into any relationship with Jon and they weren’t even aware of it at the time. They were just as surprised as the public was about the relationship at the time.”
The insider also alleged Hailey’s “lying” about her “lavender husband.”
Specifically, they claimed she’s fabricating “the timeline she met him on, and the details surrounding their marriage.”
“All in all, viewers of RHONY who think she’s ‘cute and fun’ and telling quote unquote ‘her truth’ after a turbulent time years ago in the media will be stunned to see just how much BS she’s spewing,” they elaborated.
The source also addressed Sai de Silva trying to insert herself in the drama.
Specifically, she took to the comments on the clip of her mom’s interview that surfaced to write, “What the hell!? A mom talking about their daughter is diabolical. Why are you on a podcast?!”
To this, Kim replied, “Excuse me?????? Hailey can say terrible things that are blatant lies about her Mother on international TV????? And this Woman should just accept it I DON’T THINK SO!!!”
The insider addressed Sai’s comments, stating, “Shouldn’t Sai be focusing on her impending divorce and lies she’s spewed during her first two seasons on the show rather than worrying about what the Glassmans are saying on a podcast interview?”
“She’s seemingly known Hailey for a hot second, but suddenly she knows that she’s a truth teller and her parents are lying?” they added. “Why wouldn’t her parents defend themselves if they were being bashed on a public stage? Certainly Sai would do the same if the tables were turned.”
