In this season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, fans are seeing Bronwyn Newport in the wake of her split from Todd Bradley.
They also recently watched Bronwyn, 41, take her co-stars on a trip to San Francisco. During a party she threw so that her castmates could meet her old friends from when she lived there, Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks stood up and sang an original song called “Hypocrisy and Bulls*it.” This didn’t sit well with Bronwyn.
She kicked the duo out of her party due to the song, but they went to another area of the place they were at to do an encore performance.
While appearing at Bravo Fan Fest this past weekend in Charleston, South Carolina, Bronwyn opened up about her co-stars.
“You know, it’s always different to film it than to watch it back,” she said. “And I work with… a group of women who love to wait till I’m out of the room to say how they feel about me.”
She noted watching it back is a “really good thing” as there are things she was unaware of.
“It was really intense when I was living it,” she added, as her father had passed away and she was getting a divorce.
“I was trying to do all the things to be happy… but I didn’t know I was in the hot seat… the whole cast did an interview and said I was in the hot seat – so, see you at the reunion, ladies. Let’s go.”

In an interview with eTalk, Bronwyn shed more light on Lisa, 51.
“Good for the baby gorgeous,” she said. “Yeah. Real proud of ourselves. Where we were, really, was people who’ve been important to me over the years, and I was trying to really give the girls a better understanding and taste of who I am, and that just was kind of not happening on this trip in a way that was really disappointing to me and felt really heavy as I was trying to start a new chapter and close an old one and everything kind of colliding at once.”
“And then there was this real push of like, this song is about you,” she shared about “Hypocrisy and Bulls*it,” adding, “And Whitney kept saying, ‘Don’t cheer, it’s about her, it’s about her.’ And I’m hearing her say that and then, you know, Heather‘s kind of like, ‘Shut this down, it’s your party, take control.’ And I think I just spiraled out of control. So it was, I mean, it’s always offensive when somebody ruins a moment that you want to be special, and I’m just so glad Lisa’s still so proud of that all these months later. Zero, you know, self-reflection, empathy, human kindness, societal norms.”

While on a panel at Bravo Fan Fest, Bronwyn also discussed who she feels has changed the most since the beginning of the show.
“I wasn’t an OG, so I haven’t seen them since the beginning, but I did know the girls outside of the show before I joined, and obviously Lisa and I’s friendship has gone to hell and back,” she stated. “Well, not back, actually; probably never back. And I knew Angie quite a bit too, and I’m always shocked by things that come out of Angie’s mouth when we’re doing the show, or she said something nasty about me in the press the other day, and that’s not the Angie that I used to know in kind of the, you know, charity world in Salt Lake before we both did the show together.”
New episodes of RHOSLC air every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
