RHOSLC Recap: Bronwyn Kicks Lisa & Meredith Out of Her Party After Performing Diss Track, Heather Implies Bronwyn is Paying Her Boyfriend Brandon as He Crashes Girls’ Trip, Plus Whitney Reveals Marriage Struggles

The San Francisco trip is really bringing Bronwyn and Whitney back to their roots on this episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Interestingly enough, both women are experiencing relationship strife and are struggling to become comfortable with the changes. But when Lisa and Meredith take it upon themselves to bring the “entertainment” to Bronwyn’s disco reunion, Bronwyn has had enough of the “hypocrisy and bullsh*t.”

We learn that back in 2011, Justin took a job in the Bay Area. Whitney admits that she was rather lonely, trying to figure out mom-life, and so, as an FU, she decided to shave her head, a la Britney Spears.

Whitney is annoyed at the way Lisa and Meredith have been disrespecting Bronwyn’s trip, and Whitney is just trying to hold onto her true friends because she needs them more than ever now. Whitney admits to Heather about her marital struggles and explains that she has not been happy for “a while.” She goes on to share that she moved into the guest bedroom.

Heather is now suddenly the keeper of secrets regarding crumbling marriages (i.e., Angie and now Whitney). Whitney feels like Justin “raised” her, and she is unsure what their future may be, considering this is the second time they’ve talked about separation since the last time 10 years ago.

Lisa states that she was bored during the fight last night and blames Bronwyn for saying she was strategizing with Meredith about how to attack. In reality, it was Britani who made that comment. Lisa is tired of the group, claiming that the ladies are like mirrors passing around one brain cell.

Whitney wears her gag (momentarily), and Bronwyn shares that her boyfriend is here, now on the girls’ trip. No one is very excited to have her boyfriend come out with them, but Bronwyn wants her San Fran friends to meet Brandon.

Because the group has had zero issues on a boat in the past (LOL), they hop on board and hope for the best.

Angie approaches Lisa and shares the golden ratio of aesthetics. Angie throws some shade at Lisa about her lip-lining, and Lisa states she didn’t think twice about what God “didn’t give her.” Lisa is just trying to have fun despite the non-stop digs, and so, the night before, she schemed with Meredith to create a diss track for disco night. And honestly, their lyrics about “hypocrisy and bullsh*t” really do flow well, highlighting the recent antics of the group.

Bronwyn talks about being homesick, considering she was the best version of herself in San Francisco. She does not want to go back in time, but she becomes emotional thinking about her past and her future. Bronwyn admits she has burned everything to the ground, and now she gets the chance to make her life whatever she wants. Whitney feels connected to Bronwyn because she is literally going through the same thing as her; Bronwyn just does not know it yet.

Angie almost makes it the whole way on the boat, but she barfs at the very end. It does not seem likely that she will be attending the disco party. Speaking of the party, Bronwyn is busy playing hostess, melding all the different friendships and proudly showing off her new boo.

In the meantime, Heather makes a helluva implication.  Heather assumes that Todd paid for this San Fran trip, so that would mean that Todd essentially paid for Bronwyn’s boyfriend to come along, as well. Awkward. Meredith points out that Heather implies Bronwyn’s boyfriend is only with her because she is paying him AND that Todd is, unbeknownst to him, funding this relationship. Messy, messy.

Once Britani arrives, Bronwyn grabs a mic to address her friends who are at this reunion to celebrate this new era of her life. Lisa and Meredith look on stoic as Bronwyn talks, and then they begin planning their DJ debut. Baby G (aka Lisa) comes out with the mic as DJ Meredith Marks gets in the booth. The “Glam Kittens” proceed to perform their original bop “Hypocrisy and Bullsh*t,” which of course upsets Bronwyn since this is her party. Bronwyn states that she is “devastated” by this new low, and Bronwyn lets Lisa and Meredith know that they are not welcome to sit with her.

To sing a diss track publicly is wrong, and the fact that they planned and rehearsed it speaks volumes. Meredith claims that this was funny, whereas Bronwyn is disgusted and kicks them out of the party. Bronwyn has tried to be nice and apologize, and this is how they repay her?

Lisa explains that Bronwyn has lied about her and been mean to her. This song, according to Lisa, is not about Bronwyn, but instead about all of the women. After Bronwyn kicks them out, the crowd chants Bronwyn’s name, and she gets back up on the mic, but gets interrupted by a loud crowd.

Before Lisa and Meredith actually exit the building, they put on an encore of their song on their way out.  Talk about disrespect. This, in turn, makes Bronwyn leave her own party for the evening since it has spiraled too far. Lisa is confused why Bronwyn is taking this all so personally, and Meredith claims that they were merely having fun. Perhaps Bronwyn is taking it so to heart because it’s what she thinks is true about herself? They were just two glam kittens making “general statements…”
