Chrishell Stause and G Flip announced their split on Instagram on Monday, and hours later, it was alleged that the nonbinary musician was the one who prompted the breakup.
As Chrishell’s former boyfriend and Selling Sunset boss, Jason Oppenheim, 49, offered support and her former castmate Emma Hernan, 34, allegedly threw shade by hinting at an engagement to on-again, off-again boyfriend Blake Davis, 28, insiders shed new light on the sudden split between Chrishell, 45, and G, 33.
On October 26, sources close to the situation told TMZ that it was G who ended their four-year romance with Chrishell.
As Chrishell was flooded with support on social media in the hours that followed her and G’s announcement, Jason reacted to the breakup.
“I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love,” he wrote in a comment. “You’re both beautiful people and sometimes things just don’t work out, but it certainly doesn’t mean anyone failed. There’s probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it might just take some time to process. But please know that you’re very loved and I’m always there for you no matter what.”
Meanwhile, on Emma’s page, she shared a slideshow of photos of herself and Blake in the Bahamas as she hinted at a potential engagement by showing off a large diamond on her hand.
“In our own little world,” she captioned the post.
After Emma’s post was shared, fans weighed in with suspicions.
“Did she post this because Chrishell posted that her and G broke up?” one person asked.
“Posting this straight after Chrishell has said she is separating for Gflip is wild,” another said.
“That post after Strouse broke up with her wife is funny af to me,” added a third.
On Monday, in an emotional video shared to her Instagram page, Chrishell spoke of her “public separation” from G.
“I am in love with this person, and I don’t have all the information or the reasons, and I just, I’m sure, just like always, with time, you get the lessons you’re meant to get, and I know that will happen, and I’m gonna heal, and everything’s gonna be fine. I’m definitely never doing this again, but I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold written statement because you have been so supportive and so loving, and we really appreciate that,” she explained.
“It’s really hard and stressful to share this information because I’m kind of going through it. But I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing. And this sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us. So thank you,” Chrishell added.
Hours later, on their own Instagram page, G offered a statement.
“After [four plus] years Chrishell and I are no longer together,” they shared. “I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply … My head [and] heart are feeling very heavy right now and I’m not able to talk but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time.”
