The ratings are in for Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff ‘Life of Kylie’ and let’s just say it is a major disappointment!
In addition to getting panned by critics, Kylie Jenner’s reality show debuted to what can only be described as low ratings or maybe even a flop.
During the first half hour, the show garnered a mediocre 1.115 million viewers with a 0.5 ratings among 18 – 49 yr-old adults. It got even worse as the ratings took a dip during the second episode the same night with 1.08 million total viewers plus a 0.5 rating with adults 18 – 49.
Just to compare, the reality show of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna (which debuted late last year) got 2.08 million total viewers and a 1.08 rating in the 18 – 49 adults demographics. Also in comparison, the last episode of KUWTK which aired back in March was seen by 1.48 million viewers.
So how is Kylie, 19, taking the bad news? Well according to a new report by RadarOnline, she is said to be “devastated” over the low numbers.
“She was really hoping that this was going to be her big break and that it would land her a huge future in reality TV,” a Kardashian family insider told the site.

As if all that wasn’t bad enough, the show is also getting dissed by critics. Can you blame them? I tried watching the first episode and found it so dull and devoid of any real entertainment. It was basically watching Kylie whine about her fame and fortune while she pauses to take selfies to blast to her 96 million followers on Instagram. Oh poor Kylie. If only there was a way she could shut off her Instagram and go live a quiet life!
Well with this lackluster ratings, it’s safe to say the show won’t be getting renewed for a second season.
