In a new interview, Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is revealing that she would like to make amends with her castmates.
Most notably Tamra Judge, Vicki’s former BFF who remains on the outs with her following repeated comments by Vicki accusing her husband of being gay. Vicki also spoke out about Shannon Beador saying she doesn’t understand why Shannon won’t forgive and forget.
“I am looking for reconciliation,” said Vicki, 55, told Radar Online. “I want the slate clean. I’m never going to get an apology. I’m okay with that.”
Vicki continued, “I am going to apologize and they’re never going to apologize. If we want to be able to film again and work together I want that clean slate to happen.”
Vicki, who might or might not love to play the victim, then shared that she was hurt by watching her castmates both making fun of her and doubting flu illness on a recent episode.
“Anybody would be hurt. I was in the influenza B situation, I was home sick. Sicker than a dog, my daughter’s a nurse and said ‘Do not go out, don’t go film.’ I didn’t know what the other ladies said. When I saw Tamra say, ‘Yes, she’s not coming,’ yeah it hurts. It hurts,” stated Vicki. “Because nobody wants to be left out; nobody wants to feel that they’re not wanted.”
“It’s gotten for me, too dark,” lamented Vicki. “I’m a bright, hopeful optimistic person. I love my Lord. I believe in forgiveness. I believe we can all move on and put our past behind us. I’m a believer in that. I can only control me.”
When it comes to Shannon, Vicki doesn’t understand why she won’t let their feud go. I don’t know Vicki but me thinks accusing someone’s husband of ‘beating the s**t out of them tends to have that effect!
“I don’t even know what I did! I don’t know what I did! I didn’t kill anybody, I didn’t steal,” said Vicki. “What did I do? That’s her canoe she’s got to row. I can’t control her. I know who I am. I know I am a good friend. I know I get hurt, I know I make mistakes.”
Vicki closed out the interview by claiming,”I already know my truth. I am not guilty of those things they want to accuse me of. Carry on, smile, have a shot of tequila, give everybody a kiss and move on!”
Moving on to Tamra who dishes on the last episode of the RHOC in her Bravo blog.
First Tamra touches on the whole drama involving Diko and Peggy Sulahian and the Beadors when David Beador questioned Diko about Peggy’s cancer. Diko felt that David was asking in an interrogative manner which made Peggy livid. I must say from watching that scene, I felt like Shannon had put the battery in David’s back. Tamra however feels that the Sulahians are overeacting and that they have it out for Shannon.
Tamra blogged, “Am I the only one that is in total shock at how Peggy explained things to her daughter? First of all, David did nothing wrong from what I saw. He simply walked into a conversation led by Diko and asked a couple of questions. For Peggy to get so irate and annoyed at a conversation that she wasn’t even a part of is weird to me. Why are they so defensive? Peggy has told the story 20 times, and it’s confusing every time. I’m starting to feel like Diko and Peggy have it out for poor Shannon…”
Tamra then touches on Shannon’s awkward bad marriage and her issues with David. She wrote, “Watching the dinner scene with Shannon and her family was hard. I saw a side to David that I have not seen before. Shannon cooks dinner almost every night — I know because we talk all the time. Yes, Shannon grew up privileged, but you never hear her brag about money…unlike others! I can’t imagine how Shannon feels deep inside two years after David’s affair. I personally would never be able to get over something like that. Shannon tries so hard to keep her family together that she has neglected herself in all this. I keep telling her, “It’s okay not to be over it.” I’m so glad she has her mom who went through the same thing.”
She also foreshadows her upcoming sit-down with Vicki.
“When I was talking to Lydia, I explained to her that I’d started getting a rash on my arm from all the stress Vicki was putting me through. You’ll hear more about that at the reunion. I am sick of someone that I have known for 10 plus years to constantly be talking about me and my family. It’s not that I’m sad that we are no longer friends. I’m sad that she won’t stop and apologize. Instead she keeps blaming me,” blogged Tamra. “Lydia suggested that I talk to Vicki. It wasn’t about trying to mend the friendship. It was more about telling her how I feel so I can move on. I can’t wait for you to see what happens.”
A new episode of the RHOC airs tonight on Bravo at 9/8c.
