A month after we reported Vicki Gunvalson’s ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers had gotten married to a new victim, the Real Housewives of Orange County star is slamming her ex!
In a shocking post, Vicki accuses Brooks of stealing from her and finally confirms he did indeed lie about having cancer.
On April 21, Vicki tweeted, “The facts don’t lie. He stole money from me, lied about having stage 3 non Hodgkin’s lymphoma to gain sympathy and much more. Be careful whose “whole truths” you are believing.”

It’s unknown what provoked Vicki’s tweet as the tweet she was responding to was made back in March by someone who appears to be a friend of Brooks. That Twitter user was defending Brooks, claiming people had formed opinions on him based on “half facts!”
As you can see from the screenshot below, that Twitter user never tagged Vicki in the post or mentioned her by name so it’s a bit odd why Vicki chose to respond to it a month later.
RHOC fans will recall that back in 2015, Brooks lied about having cancer and even forged documents in his attempt to convince others that he was really sick. He eventually admitted to faking medical documents but continued to insist he had cancer.
Many suspected Vicki knew about the cancer lie though she has always denied being involved. And until today, she had never fully acknowledged that Brooks faked his cancer diagnosis, usually claiming she didn’t know whether or not he lied about having the disease.
Brooks has since moved on, marrying his girlfriend Christy Lindeman back in March after less than two years of dating. Vicki is also dating new beau Steve Lodge.
Brooks has yet to respond to Vicki’s tweet.
