Last week, it was reported that Denise Richards was just days away from signing on to join the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for it’s upcoming season, and today we can confirm she has signed on! But, will she be replacing her fellow actress Lisa Rinna?
As Bravo prepares to begin filming the 9th season of the RHOBH, it appears Lisa might have just dropped a major hint about her future on the show.
If you recall, Carole Radziwill announced her departure from the Real Housewives of New York City on Wednesday via a statement to Bravo. And then minutes later, she took to her Instagram page to post a cryptic quote that stated: “Didn’t change, just learned.”
Well, moments after Carole posted her quote, which was basically hinting she wasn’t leaving RHONY on good terms, Lisa commented on Carole’s post, writing: “Same.”
Right away, many fans wondered if Lisa was also confirming she was leaving the RHOBH.
“Don’t leave too!!!” wrote one fan to Lisa. “Don’t play with me Rinna!! I can’t take my two favorite housewives leaving both in the same year,” wrote another fan.
Even Carole chimed in, jokingly telling Lisa: “Lol…you’re starting a rumor.”
Except, this rumor is coming straight from the horse’s mouth. In fact, Lisa’s comment comes just months after Bravo appeared to drop a hint that she was being demoted to a friend. So, it’s possible that Lisa might have chosen to walk away from the series rather than accept a demotion.
Additionally, Denise’s addition to the RHOBH cast now seems confirmed after her friend Rebecca Romijn took to her Instagram page on July 26 to drop a major hint.
Under a photo of herself and Denise, Rebecca wrote the following caption: “Such an exciting day having lunch with @deniserichards and her hot bf Aaron on the day before her new endeavor (wink wink) Congrats girl! Break legs and have fun!”
As you can see, Bravo’s Andy Cohen even liked Rebecca’s Instagram post.
So, it appears Denise starts filming today, just two days after Lisa hinted she is leaving the series.
