Bethenny Frankel is continuing to struggle as she attempts to move forward after the tragic loss of her late boyfriend Dennis Shields.
In a series of tweets over the weekend, the Real Housewives of New York City star told her fans and followers that she was hurting and missing the New York businessman, who she’d been dating on and off for the past two years.
“Doing anything in or by the water is life saving,” she tweeted. “Beach walks. ocean swims, wakeboarding, clamming, infrared sauna, jacuzzi & my swim really help. When you feel sad, you cry then you just have to force yourself to shift. It’s so hard but it works.”

Since the loss of Dennis, Bethenny has been spotted spending time with her daughter, eight-year-old Bryn, and several friends in The Hamptons. She’s also been chronicling her beach moments on Instagram and sharing snapchats of her time boating.
After sharing her post, Bethenny was met by a fan who encouraged her to stay strong for Bryn and told her Dennis is surely watching over her from heaven.
“I know and I appreciate you taking the time to say so. It hurts. I miss him & it is a storm I have to go through,” she replied.

She also shared this post on Instagram over the weekend.
Dennis was found dead of an apparent opioid overdose at his Trump Tower apartment on August 10 but because of his religious beliefs, an autopsy was not conducted and a drug overdose was never proven.
In a post to her fans and followers last month, Bethenny confirmed that despite the on-and-off nature of their relationship, she and Dennis were together at the time of his passing.
“It’s hard to breathe & I appreciate you giving me the space & support to try to do so,” she wrote. “It’s excruciating-sudden death is no closure & constant ?s & memories. Our relationship is current so it’s painfully raw. Trying to stay healthy & move through it w tears & close friends. Xo.”
