The Hills are alive with the sound of drama.
As production continues on the upcoming ninth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump has reportedly found herself estranged from the entire cast, aside from newcomer Denise Richards.
“She is not talking to any of the cast except for Denise,” an insider told Us Weekly magazine on October 4. “There have been numerous attempts from the other cast members to reach out to her and they have gone unanswered.”
According to the report, the tension between the women came after Lisa Rinna, Teddi Mellencamp, Erika Girardi, and Dorit Kemsley caught Lisa V. in a lie.
“The women feel like Lisa doesn’t want to face them and confront the situation. She has kept her distance and now that’s creating more problems with the cast,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, another source told Us Weekly “the cast has chosen not to talk to [Lisa].”
In addition to the alleged lie Lisa V.was caught in, a number of sources confirmed to the magazine that Kyle Richards was recently involved in a verbal spat with Lisa’s husband, Ken Todd, and afterwards, Ken allegedly told Kyle she “would never be allowed in their house again.”
“They were both screaming at each other. It was really bad and ugly,” the first source said.
On Thursday, October 4, Kyle had to deny the RHOBH cast was ganging up on Lisa after a follower accused her of doing just that on Instagram, after Kyle shared a photo of the cast, aside from Lisa V. and Denise, attending a Boy George concert.
Kyle responded to the fan, writing: “Nobody has ganged up on anyone. Wait and watch.”
A third insider told Us Weekly that Denise is the only cast member willing to film scenes for season 9 with Lisa V.
“She’s feeling this all out because she’s a newbie and is still adjusting to the insanity whereas the other women are more comfortable with each other,” the source said. “She’s like a fish out of water. She’s harmless and sweet but does not know her place yet.”
Following an Instagram video last month, during which Erika and Lisa R. called out Lisa V. for refusing to take group photos with the cast, a source told the magazine Lisa V. “wanted to shoot separately and do hair and makeup separately.” The source also noted Lisa V. had “beef” with both Teddi and Dorit, and added that all of their co-stars were “involved in the rift.”
According to the report, Lisa V.’s issues with Dorit stem from a puppy adoption earlier this year, which ended with the animal being located at a shelter in Los Angeles.
“There was a situation with Dorit and a puppy, but what hasn’t been talked about is that the puppy was biting Dorit’s kids. So a friend of Dorit’s offered to take the dog off her hands because the puppy wasn’t improving and the puppy was still aggressive and the friend brought the dog to a shelter,” an insider claimed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return to Bravo TV later this year for season nine.
