Lisa Vanderpump 'Disappointed' With RHOBH Co-Stars

Lisa Vanderpump spoke out about her involvement in the upcoming ninth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during an interview on Tuesday’s episode of The Talk. Lisa opened up about her ‘disappointment’ with her castmates, as she also revealed when she plans to make a decision regarding her future on the RHOBH.

As rumors claim the restauranteur is considering leaving the series, Lisa confirmed she would be seen on “most” of the new episodes of season nine but admitted she isn’t yet sure about a potential return for season 10.

“That’s like saying, ‘Am I invited to your Christmas party next year?’ I have no idea if the show is going to be picked up,” Lisa said of her thoughts on season 10. “I don’t know yet.”

According to Lisa, she’s planning to wait until production on season nine, and the season nine reunion, is complete before making any official decisions about her future on the show.

“This season was very difficult for me and I did find that I kind of floundered this season,” she said. “It’s my ninth season. I had a very difficult year and after doing Vanderpump Rules and opening a new business, things got very complicated. So, I’m in most of the season… but it got a bit complicated.”

While Lisa isn’t ready to leave her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills quite yet, she told the hosts she’s considered quitting in the past.

“I think when I’ve had a couple of rough seasons, I’ve thought, ‘Am I crazy for going back?’ And I think anybody who has watched the show, when they’ve seen [me] be under attack a little bit, it’s been hard,” she explained. “I’ve had a wonderful time a lot of the time on Housewives and sometimes it gets a bit rough.”

Also on the show, Lisa opened up about her co-stars’ recent absence during her 3rd Annual Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Gala, admitting their absence was ‘disappointing.’

“Well, it’s basically a charity… you expect people to buy tables and support it,” she explained. “I wasn’t in a great place with [the RHOBH cast]. So the fact that they didn’t come, yes, was disappointing but it hasn’t been great the past couple of months.”

That said, Lisa has also gained a lot from the show and expressed her gratitude towards Bravo TV, who has allowed her to spotlight her humanitarian and animal rights efforts on the series.

“Vanderpump Dogs Rescue Center, we’ve already rescued out 780 dogs,” Lisa revealed. “The television vehicle is just so powerful so I have used it to my advantage as well and to support the things I’m passionate about.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine is expected to begin airing on Bravo TV sometime early next year.
