Bethenny Frankel took to Twitter on Wednesday to call out Delta airline for serving fish, as some fans are raising questions about her allergy.
After suffering a near-fatal allergic reaction to fish in Boston last month, the Real Housewives of New York City star has become quite vocal online about the issue and yesterday, she revealed she was nearly exposed to salmon on a flight.
“You can’t write this. Now another airline is serving cooked salmon for my next flight. I have contacted them multiple times to no avail. I guess I’ll have to take another poll [with] my cabin. [Because] everyone is dying to eat cooked fish on a plane,” she wrote.

The following day, Bethenny clarified that the airline she was referring to was Delta.
“Ok tweeps please educate [Delta] who just told me that ‘fish allergies are not considered airborne.’ Who has the article about the poor little boy who died of exactly that?” she asked.

Weeks ago on Instagram, Bethenny shared a screenshot of a report regarding the recent death of an 11-year-old boy, who tragically died after walking into his grandmother’s house, where fish was being prepared.
Bethenny also called out American Airlines for telling her that despite her allergy to fish, they “couldn’t not” serve it to the rest of their travelers.
“It was [American Airlines] who said they couldn’t not serve fish: Then after a vote, pilot made announcement to the plane that they won’t serve fish [because] 1 woman has an allergy. They say now they won’t stop serving fish which is 1 of only 1 foods proven to be airborne & deadly,” she revealed.
Also, as Bethenny continues to be an ambassador for those suffering from severe fish allergies, some fans have been raising questions after multiple videos and photos purporting to show her eating fish or preparing meals with fish have surfaced.
The questions have come about because Bethenny previously stated she’s been allergic to fish “since birth.” She also added that she is allergic to all fish with the exception of shellfish. However, there’s this video from her former talk show, Bethenny, which shows her helping Chef Hung Huynh prepare a sea bass fish meal in 2013.
There’s also a video of her from 2007 in which she can be seen preparing a tuna caper green salad.
And just yesterday, another Twitter user shared a screenshot of Bethenny celebrating her 43rd birthday on her former talk show with her age spelled out in sushi.
Others have raised the possibility that her allergies might have gotten more severe as she got older.
Earlier this month, Bethenny revealed she was experiencing memory and vision problems following her hospitalization after a near-death allergic reaction.
