Don't Be Tardy's Kim Zolciak Faces $215,000 Lawsuit

Kim Zolciak is being sued for over $215,000.

According to a new report, the American Express National Bank filed documents against the Don’t Be Tardy star in November of last year which claimed the mother of six was behind on payments to the tune of $215,925.90

“Defendant [Zolciak] agreed to pay and was obligated to pay the Plaintiff for all extended credit on Defendant’s account,” their complaint read, according to a February 25 report from Radar Online. “Pursuant to the parties’ agreement, Plaintiff transmitted to Defendants a monthly billing statement for the account, and Defendant was obligated to pay the minimum payment due as set forth on that statement on a monthly basis.”

“The Defendant has failed and continues to fail to pay the amounts due and owing on the account,” the lawsuit continued.

When a sheriff served a summons to Kim earlier this month, her husband, Kroy Biermann, accepted the documents on her behalf.

News of the $215,000 lawsuit against the former Real Housewives of Atlanta comes just after she and her daughters, Brielle Biermann and Ariana Biermann, launched their new makeup line, KAB Cosmetics.

As Radar revealed, the response to the new line has been mixed and a number of users have felt Kim’s products have poor quality.

“I thought this product would be amazing,” one buyer said. “The pencil is super hard and when applying, you have to dig into your skin! The colors are super dark and nothing like the photos. Definitely a no go!”

“My lipstick was delivered with a crack down the middle. It will break in half soon by the looks of it,” another said.

A third customer added that the product “wears off fast.”

“Just got my kits today and I’m less than impressed,” another buyer wrote. “The quality is not phenomenal and the colors are also not depicted right. I expected better.”

Don’t Be Tardy season seven airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
