Vicki Gunvalson Slams "Raunchy" Behavior on RHOC and Accuses Kelly of Trying to 'Undermine' Her Relationship, Plus Why She's Against Former Cast Members Returning

After 14 years of being on the show, Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Guvalson is sounding off on the “raunchy” behavior of the current cast, her feelings about Kelly Dodd, why she’s not a fan of former cast members popping up for cameos, and whether or not she’d partake in a spin-off.

The O.G. of the O.C. has seen a lot of housewives come and go in the franchise since it first aired back in 2006. And while the show is still quite popular today, Vicki is the first to admit a lot has changed since then, and not necessarily for the better.

“There is an overload of crying and raunchy talk and behavior. The talk about sexual exploits should have been kept private and not heard or seen by children on television,” Vicki divulged to Us Weekly following this week’s particularly wild episode. “When I created this franchise 15 years ago, it was about our lives and having the opportunity to showcase the world the privileged lifestyle we lead. It’s turning out to be all about divorce, rental houses, threesomes and other ridiculous things.”

As fans saw in the most recent RHOC episode, Vicki was unhappy with the way Tamra Judge and newbie Braunwyn Windham-Burke were acting at Shannon Beador‘s birthday celebration in San Diego, as they drunkenly made out and got very touchy-feely. The 57-year-old openly expressed her disdain for the new housewife throughout the episode.

“Braunwyn f**king bugs the s**t out of me,” Vicki said on the show while the ladies were out dancing at a bar, which was possibly fueled by jealousy. “I’m going home. Braunwyn’s trash. She’s dancing like she’s 12 years old. She’s just classless.”

Along with this season’s over-the-top, crass behavior, Vicki also isn’t a fan of old housewives making cameos. In season 14 alone, viewers have already seen Megan King Edmonds and Alexis Bellino‘s brief return to the show. The O.G. housewife claims doing this “doesn’t serve the show.”

“They all left for a reason and recycling probably won’t work unless they were a cornerstone of the show to begin with,” she explained further.

But nothing on the show seems to upset Vicki more than her on-again, off-again enemy, Kelly. The two have bashed each other on and off-screen for months now. In one of Kelly’s more recent claims, she accused Vicki of buying the engagement ring her fiancé Steve Lodge proposed to her with.

“Kelly likes to throw as much crap on the wall as she can to see what sticks,” the Bravo star said. “She has no knowledge of Steve’s financial worth, nor mine. Making false statements is her way of trying to undermine Steve and my relationship.”

The Coto Insurance founder also blamed Kelly’s behavior on the fact that she doesn’t have a full-time job.

“If Kelly had a job and went to work every day like I do, she wouldn’t have time to constantly throw stones at others,” Vicki went on. “She really needs to worry about herself and her.”

Ultimately, Vicki believes that Kelly needs to “take responsibility for her own behavior and the reputation she has created for herself.”

“Kelly needs to stop blaming everyone else for her bad behavior and her personal problems,” Vicki said. “Kelly would help herself by becoming independent of a man for financial wants and needs and rely solely on herself. If she accomplished this her self image and true confidence would be revealed, instead of this false bravado.”

As fans already know, Kelly has dated a slew of successful men and is currently in a seemingly happy relationship with Fox News’ Rick Leventhal.
