Joe Giudice is unhappy with the current lockdown in Italy.
Days after the Italian government imposed a national quarantine, the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member took to his Instagram page to slam the “ridiculous” lockdown, which restricts the country from leaving their homes, except for work or health needs, due to the ongoing fears of coronavirus.
“More people die from Viagra (heart attacks and drug overdose) everyday than this Corona virus,” Joe wrote in a March 10 post. “People here are frantic because government is ridiculous with [lock] down !!!! Sorry Lock down not for me Never again !!!!! Stay saf, eat healthy, exercise, and no shaking hands.”
Joe also included the hash tags “#awarenessiskey” and “#washhands” in his post.
Hours later, Joe returned to Instagram to make it clear that he was not pushing back on the government-ordered lockdown.
“I am not moving around the country. I am obeying the law going to work, shopping for family, and NO cafes, gym, and places like that,” he explained.
Joe then added in a comment that he is “in quarantine [and] only out for work, family or food.”
In a third post, which was shared on Wednesday morning, Teresa Giudice‘s estranged husband suggested that the governments were in full control of the potential end of the spread of the coronavirus before demanding he be set free.
“I feel the government’s can stop this (only [companies] making [money] internet base and stocks)! Set us free!” he said. “I didn’t imply humans [are] dumb! There is a cure it should not lead to humans being [locked] or caged! Our society is [losing] face to face conversation cause of [cell phones]. Please don’t allow fear to take our social skills! [Mad] you’s don’t see my view nice to get a hello in the streets after seeing four walls. April will be a [vaccine].”
While a number of people criticized Joe for minimizing the virus and complaining about the safety measures taken, he responded with a message about needing to making money for his family.
“My point here we don’t get paid sick or what ever other days! There is no work average contractor paid $50 a day so can’t afford to stay home need to help my family,” he explained.
