Andy Cohen Reveals He Tested Positive for Coronavirus and Says He Will No Longer Be Hosting WWHL From Home as Celebs and Bravolebrities Speak Out

Andy Cohen has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Less than one week after production on his talk show, Watch What Happens Live, was suspended, Andy took to his Instagram page to confirm his diagnosis and reveal that he will no longer be filming his series from his home, as he previously planning, as a number of his celebrity friends and several Bravolebrities sent their well-wishes.

“After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus,” Andy shared on Friday, March 20, “As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do [Watch What Happens Live] from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better. I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us, and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”

Following his post, Andy was flooded with comments.

“Rest up. Love you with all my heart,” wrote singer John Mayer.

“We love you Andy,” Stassi Schroeder said. “Sending prayers your way.”

Today host Savannah Guthrie and Live! with Kelly and Ryan’s Kelly Ripa told Andy they loved him as actress Busy Philipps sent him “love and healing” and encouraged him to get better “quickly.”

Vanderpump RulesKatie Maloney and Brittany Cartwright both sent their prayers to Andy as Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker left a comment with three blue heart emoji.

“Oh man. Damn. Get better body,” said Southern Charm‘s Shep Rose. “You’ll be back to making people happy in no time.”

Andy’s confirmation of his COVID-19 diagnosis came just three short hours after he announced the launch of WWHL at home.
