Ahead of the series’ upcoming premiere, Garcelle revealed that she didn’t connect with Kyle and one other cast member of the series before dishing on what she has in common with Erika Jayne and sharing her thoughts on the upcoming reunion taping and her potential season 11 return.
“I didn’t get a chance to get to know Kyle. I think she’s hilarious. But I didn’t really connect with her as I have with some of the other ladies,” Garcelle admitted to E! News on April 10.
According to Garcelle, she believes she and Kyle didn’t vibe in the way she’d hoped because they weren’t together enough and have differing personalities.
“I think a little bit of both. Sometimes people are hard to get to know,” she explained, adding that Kyle may have “had her guard up a little bit” this season.
“I didn’t connect with Sutton right away. And I think she took offense to…I said to her, ‘We don’t all have to be friends, you know, best friends.’ And my thing was that in real life, you’re not best friends with everybody, you know? So I wanted to get to know her,” Garcelle explained.
While Garcelle was always a fan of RHOBH, being a part of the craziness has been a unique experience for the actress.
“Sometimes it was hard. Sometimes it was like, ‘What did I bargain for?’ But overall I think what people are going to see from me is really who I am. I keep it real,” she shared. “I feel like me and Erika have that in common. We say how we feel, we keep it moving.”
In addition to her friendship with Erika, Garcelle is also close to Lisa Rinna, who recently warned her about the upcoming RHOBH reunion.
“Lisa Rinna’s warned me [about the reunion], 100 percent. I’m scared to death,” Garcelle admitted.
As for a potential return for season 11, Garcelle said, “I believe I would. I think I would.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 premieres on Wednesday, April 15 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
