Kyle Richards is speaking out after seeing that her newest Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Garcelle Beauvais, took aim at her during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live last week.
Following Garcelle’s chat with Andy Cohen, during which she labeled Kyle as the “least welcoming” cast member of RHOBH and said she had the “biggest ego” of all the women, Kyle appeared on Amy Phillips‘ Reality Checked, where she admitted her feelings were hurt by Garcelle’s diss. Kyle also called out her castmate for saying one thing but doing another.
“We got along the entire season and then to see her go on Watch What Happens Live, I think to myself, ‘Well wow, you’d be a lot more entertaining… if [you] actually thought those things and said it to my face,'” Kyle explained. “But instead, she was nice all season and we got along.”
According to Kyle, she and Garcelle got along well throughout production on RHOBH season 10 and she felt the actress was a “great addition” to the series.
“And then she goes on Watch What Happens Live and said that and I’m like, ‘Okay, now I’ve got my feelings hurt,’ which I should not do that,” Kyle admitted. “I mean, you’re a housewife you’ve got to be tough. But it doesn’t even make sense to me, it doesn’t even ring true to me that she thinks that.”
In addition to saying Kyle was the “least welcoming” with the “biggest ego,” Garcelle also told Andy on WWHL that Kyle was the last castmate she’d want to be in quarantine with.
Of the many disses, Kyle said Garcelle “[says] one thing but [acts] another way.”
“I see what we’re working with here,” she continued.
Even Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, was caught off-guard by Garcelle’s statements.
“My husband goes, ‘Why is she saying that? You never had an issue with her. I thought you guys got along,'” Kyle recalled. “I said, ‘I did.’ He goes, ‘Well what is she saying that for?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know. I don’t know how to explain that. I can’t get into her mind.’ All I know is if I think and feel something, I say it and you’ll see it throughout the season. So when I see the new Housewives come in and they’re nice and then they go on their interviews… just be consistent.”
Kyle also issued a stern warning to Garcelle in regard to the upcoming reunion.
“Shots fired, done. Forget it. I’ll see you at the reunion,” she added.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
