Right after Kelly Dodd unfollowed her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Emily Simpson followed suit. The sudden Instagram drama is causing fans to wonder … what’s going down in the OC?
Things seemed friendly between all the ladies as they began production on the RHOC earlier this year and resumed filming earlier in the summer amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Then, two weeks ago, news broke about Kelly unfollowing Braunwyn. Now, Emily also no longer follows her castmate.
“In today’s #RHOC Unfollow News: Emily and Corona Kelly have unfollowed Braunwyn. Do I sense an #RHOCMeanGirls takedown?” the Queens of Bravo account posted on Instagram.
Cast members unfollowing each other isn’t the only drama surrounding season 15 of the show, as more news revealed that just 12 episodes will air due to coronavirus restrictions limiting production.
Even if Emily is having some tension with Braunwyn on the RHOC, she’s all about positivity and leveling up in her personal life, recently revealing a 16 lb. weight loss on her Instagram.
“It’s been a JOURNEY to get to this point right here. Ups and downs. Gains and losses. Currently 16 pounds down. Body fat percentage 10 percent lower than last year. And no longer categorized as ‘obese,’ ” she wrote in a lengthy post detailing her weight loss journey. “There’s no right way to start. There’s no magic plan or magic pill. You just have to dig deep and make yourself a priority.”
The mother of five revealed how the first step on her journey was to contact weight loss coach Paulina Taylor Hefferan and ask for help. “You have to start somewhere,” she stated in the post. “Make that day today.”
The reality star went on to explain how she has “more work to do” to reach her “ultimate goal,” but that she’s “enjoying the journey” along the way. She also shared how she took her hair extensions out and that her implants are “about to get evicted” as well.
“I feel lighter. Free. And Maybe someday I’ll be brave enough to share the ‘Before’ photo with you all … until then make YOU a priority ❤️❤️,” she concluded.
An exact premiere date for The Real Housewives of Orange County season 15 has not yet been set.
