Lisa Vanderpump is speaking out amid rumors regarding her potentially upcoming bankruptcy filing.
On Twitter, after a fan questioned comedian Heather McDonald about whether or not she asked the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member about the reports during Lisa’s recent appearance on her podcast, Lisa responded to the rumors of financial hardships.
“Omg! Did you ask if the rumors of her going bankrupt are true?” the fan asked Heather on September 14.
“Not yet..,” Lisa surprisingly replied.
Back in July, as Lisa confirmed she and husband Ken Todd were closing their Beverly Hills eatery, Villa Blanca, for good, Crazy Days and Nights shared a “blind item” about someone who was experiencing “huge financial issues.”
“A few months ago I told you this foreign born reality star from multiple reality shows was having huge financial issues. They have not got any better. Her empire is crumbling and is tens of millions of dollars in debt. Bankruptcy is coming,” the outlet warned.
The outlet then said that the person in question was none other than “Lisa Vanderpump.”
And just earlier this month, Lisa was surprisingly open during an appearance on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett‘s podcast, Give Them Lala… With Randall, as she admitted her finances had taken a hit amid the ongoing pandemic and shutdowns.
“Five months of paying rent and insurance, and having no business is taxing, stretching, [has been] a bit of a nightmare. But we’ll get back on track soon,” Lisa shared during the September 2 interview. “When we do decide to open, we have good-sized patios. Pump is 90 percent garden. TomTom has two gardens and we can put tables outside. So we are very fortunate with that but we’ve just been waiting for it to be safe.”
She added that only one of her restaurants is still currently open.
