Garcelle Beauvais revealed she once dated Johnny Depp during the latest episode of her podcast.
While chatting with Ali Landry and Brooke Burke, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member spoke of her past romance with Johnny and revealed her ideal partner as Ali confirmed she recently took a meeting with producers in regard to a future position on the Bravo reality series.
“I went out with Johnny Depp before Johnny Depp became Johnny Depp,” Garcelle told listeners on the October 29 episode of Going to Bed With Garcelle.
According to Garcelle, she and Johnny first hit it off at a nightclub in Miami.
“I was at a club with a friend and there was a guy that stared at me all night long and my girlfriend’s like, ‘Do you see this guy checking you out the whole night?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah.’ But we were just having a good time,” she recalled.
Then, as Garcelle and her friend prepared to leave, Johnny approached her.
“He came up to me and he said, ‘Hey, I’m in a band and we’re gonna do a music video and I would love for you to be in the music video.’ And I said, ‘Um, okay. Give me your number and we’ll see,’ and then we talked a couple of times and he was living with his sister and her two kids,” Garcelle shared.
“I remember I went to his house one time and he kissed me and that, you know, that was it,” she continued, adding that he was “not a great kisser.”
Also during the show, Ali said that because she has friends on the RHOBH cast, she’s been asked to join the show on a number of different occasions.
“It’s just never been a really great time. I’ve always had lots of other things going on. I was able to enjoy the fun from afar, the parties where you dance on a table or two, you have a cocktail too many and then you go home,” Ali revealed. “That’s something you really have to… It looks all fun and great and dramatic but you really have to think what that would look like in your life.”
At this moment, Ali and her husband Alejandro are on a “spiritual” and “emotional journey” in which they are being careful about what they expose their lives to. That said, after Garcelle encouraged her to talk to RHOBH producers, she agreed to do so.
“I took the meeting and Alejandro was like, ‘You don’t have to decide. Just surrender to the experience. If it’s for you, all the doors are going to open and it’s going to come to you.’ I had a great time [at the meeting]. So, we’ll see,” Ali teased.
