Candiace Dillard-Bassett and her husband Chris Bassett just bought a new home!

The Real Housewives of Potomac star announced the new $1 million purchase on her Instagram account on Thursday, marking an occasion to be grateful for during this Thanksgiving holiday.

In the photo, the RHOP star and her husband Chris posed in front of their new abode, holding a “Sold” sign and grinning ear-to-ear.

“Much to be thankful for????,” Candiace captioned her post, writing in numerous hashtags including “our house” and “moves on moves on moves.”

MLS records show Candiace and Chris paid exactly $1,000,000 for the home which was originally listed for $1.075 million. The 10,000 square foot property, complete with five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms, is nestled within a gated community and sits near a country club and a golf course. The two-story home is adorned with a stone facade and upper brick layout with a double door entry.

Walking in to the massive, airy entryway, the grand foyer reveals a curved staircase leading up to the second floor with living areas situated on both sides and hardwood floors and white trim throughout.

The bright and cozy formal dining room sits by one of the front-facing windows, complete with architectural detailing overhead and a beautiful orb-style chandelier.

The other side of the foyer features two sitting or living rooms, perfect for having guests over for cocktail hour or entertaining family. The first room also sits behind one of the front-facing windows and breaks off into another cozy space, perfect for some scenic privacy.

The light and roomy kitchen area boast glass-front cabinetry, beautiful gray countertops, large kitchen island, stainless steel appliances, plus a custom wine refrigerator.

The area also opens up to a quaint, yet still spacious kitchen nook, with plenty of light coming through the surrounding windows and high ceilings overhead.

Speaking of high ceilings, the definite showstopper of the home is the enormous formal living room looking out to the backyard, complete with a cove ceiling, double-decker windows, and a second-story balcony overlook.

In addition to a ground floor guest bedroom are three spare bedrooms upstairs plus a sprawling master suite.

The lavish master bath area features a large vanity and mirror, enormous soaking tub by the windows, and a walk-in shower space, while the bedroom shows off a spacious interior and unique architectural detail overhead, similar to the bathroom’s ceiling.

Downstairs is the finished lower level, with plenty of space to entertain, relax and hang with friends and family. The recreational area also features a full bar and bath where guests can mingle.

The rear of the home is sure to impress, with a back deck area that’s perfect for entertaining and enjoying the outdoor scenery. The backyard is also expansive, with plenty of green space for outdoor activities.
