Crystal Kung-Minkoff hosted a Q&A on her Instagram Story on Monday, where she revealed her one regret about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
As a number of her fans and followers sent in their questions, Crystal addressed rumors regarding her potential nose job and use of Botox before sharing details about her marriage to husband Rob Minkoff and discussing their potential plans for more kids.
“Any regrets so far on RHOBH?” a fan asked on July 5.
“Yes,” Crystal admitted in her response. “I was really uncomfortable filming the first half of the season, like-super uncomfortable. I wish I could have relaxed and enjoyed it more. But you can’t force it. You can’t prepare yourself for being on camera. I get more used to it halfway through. That’s when I can actually smile and have fun.”
A second fan wanted to know if Crystal had a nose job.
“No. I’m all natural,” Crystal confirmed. “Never even colored my hair. But let me be clear. I’m 100 [percent] for anything cosmetic if that’s your thing. Everyone should do what makes them feel good. Your body. Your choice.”
In addition to never going under the knife, Crystal has also never received Botox.
“Never had it!! But I’m all for it if you want it!!” she stated, adding that because she has a skin condition known as melasma, she does her best to stay out of the sun.
As her chat continued, fans wanted to know more about the RHOBH newbie‘s marriage to Rob, who is most famous for his role as the director of The Lion King.
“How did you meet Rob?” someone wondered.
“We met at his offices May 10, 2003. He was hosting a birthday for a friend on the balcony and my friends were invited. I had come down to L.A. that weekend for my [mom’s] birthday, so if it weren’t for that, we wouldn’t have met,” Crystal revealed.
“What did you do before meeting your husband?” another person asked.
“I met Rob at the end of my second year of college – U.C. Irvine. I was premed – studying biology and history,” Crystal shared. “I worked at a commodities brokerage and then started working at an urgent care. But this was during college, so school was my priority.”
As for whether or not she and Rob want more kids, Crystal told another one of her online audience members that the two of them have no plans to expand their family further.
“We’re complete,” she confirmed.
Crystal then said that while she appeared to only want a boy on RHOBH, there was more to her family story than what was shown.
“On my debut episode, it only showed how much I wanted a boy. But it didn’t show the full context (there’s only so much airtime!) It’s because my brother Jeff and I are best friends and I wanted to recreate it. So I did as much to [have] a girl after as I did to have a boy,” she shared. “Luckily, my dream came true and I have Max and Zoe. So, I feel like I should quit while I’m ahead.”
