Melissa Gorga shares a peek of her new house as she and her husband Joe Gorga officially begin renovations.
Months after the Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her family said goodbye to their mansion in Montville, New Jersey, she is giving fans a look at their new property.
On July 28, Melissa took to Instagram to document their first day of construction while also promising more updates along the way.
“Let’s get down to business! Our [first] love! Making beautiful homes,” she wrote. “This will soon soon be our new house! This is day one of construction! I’m gonna keep posting all of the renovation as it goes along so watch Joe & I do what we do best!!”
The reality star wasn’t shy about showing her followers just how much work needs to be done as she even zoomed in on a scary bees’ nest hanging from the back porch.
In addition to the construction crew on-site, it seems a camera crew was also present, so the renovation will most likely be one of her season 12 storylines.
This comes seven months after the couple finally unloaded their sprawling mansion for a reported $2.9 million. They had been trying to sell the 9,000-square-foot home for years as it was originally placed on the market back in 2017. Nevertheless, it seems Melissa and Joe are ready for “new beginnings,” which she revealed when they said goodbye to the Montville property.
“Our family home for the last 12 years is Officially Sold,” Melissa wrote in December 2020. “We’ve made so many memories in this home. We were blessed to be able to share so many of them with all of you, [Bravo and] the Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers. I love that I can always watch the reruns and remember the good times we had in it. I’m excited to start new beginnings with my family.”
