Facing a $25 million lawsuit, Erika Jayne is trying to get by. On a recent episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the pop singer admitted that she was broke.
Erika was hit with the lawsuit after her husband Tom Girardi was accused of embezzling funds that belonged to his former clients. His wife, who announced their separation last year, acknowledged on RHOBH that she expects to get nothing from the divorce, and she feels that every new day brings more disasters.
In a recent Instagram video, Erika promoted an eyelash serum called Sugarbear. Dressed in a purple silk robe with eyeball designs, she introduced the product and said, “What this serum does is give you longer feeling, stronger feeling, and more luscious lashes.” She then rotated toward the mirror and began to apply the product.
When she was finished putting it on, the reality star addressed the camera again and declared, “Get some Sugarbear LashCare and get those lashes going.”
In a caption to the post, Erika discussed the serum further, saying, “I’m so excited to grow strong, flirty, and healthy lashes with the help of my Sugarbear LashCare! It’s cruelty-free and safe for everyone! Grab yourself Sugarbear LashCare and let’s grow these lashes together.”
The plaintiffs in the lawsuit are the widows and orphans of crash victims, who claim Tom stole settlement money that belonged to them.
Erika, who hasn’t been charged with a crime, has consistently stated that she didn’t know of her husband’s alleged misconduct. Even so, many fans are certain she’s lying, and they want her to pay for the alleged wrongdoing.
