The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora is back for season 14 after making her debut last year. She’s teasing that the shade is real and “spicy” for season 14 after some viewers called last season “stale.”
Following the departures of RHOA veterans Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams, the season 14 cast includes a slew of new and returning faces, including athlete Sanya Richards Ross, the return of RHOA OG Sheree Whitfield, Kandi Burrus, Kenya Moore, newly-peached and promoted Marlo Hampton, and Drew herself.
Known for being one of the more explosive in Bravo’s Housewives franchises, Drew is saying that the upcoming season is one for the books as her costars go “below the belt” and went to some dark places she wasn’t entirely prepared for.
Speaking to ET, Drew explained, “I will tell you that it is going to be very spicy.” She then added, “It’s worse than I ever could have imagined. It’s below the belt and yeah, it’s gone to some places I didn’t, and I wasn’t prepared for.”
Drew also teases a budding friendship and/or possible feud with newbie Sanya, calling their relationship a “journey.”
“I think she’s [Sanya] definitely adding to the group,” Drew said. “Getting to know her has been a journey. I’ll say that. It’s been a journey. It’s been an interesting journey.”
Drew also went on to divulge that she has learned quite a lot about her co-stars during her sophomore season as she navigated her friendships, and not all of it was rainbows and sunshine.
“I’m building a little more relationships with those individuals — certain ones — so I’ll say I know a little more in some areas and a lot of things, it’s f’ed up,” the RHOA star said.
Here’s to looking forward to the upcoming season. It sounds like it’s going to be a hot year in the ATL.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 14 filming is well underway; however, no premiere date has been released by Bravo as of yet.
