Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix were faced with a new round of split rumors over the weekend.
As Tom and his band, Tom Sandoval and The Most Extras, were supported by a number of their Vanderpump Rules castmates, including Scheana Shay, Raquel Leviss, and Brock Davies, as they traveled to San Diego for their latest tour stop at the Music Box, a rumor hit the web that suggested he and Ariana were done “faking it.”
“The rumors are true… These [two] bar stars have broken up. They are currently filming but faking it became too much,” read a rumor shared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram, via Reddit. “She had tried to make things work and suggested therapy. Contrary to popular belief, he is not the domesticated partner who wanted a family, he’s been enjoying touring with his band and going out almost every night. She has been traveling with him but he pays almost no attention to her while they are out, even leaving her at the venue to go out without her knowing it.”
Although the report suggested that there was tension between them due to Tom’s behavior, it also noted that the Pump Rules cast members “still seem to be friendly” and that there were “no hard feelings.”
But what’s really going on with Tom and Ariana?
After a fan on Twitter shared a message about the split rumors, noting that Ariana was not in attendance during Sunday’s show, Ariana set the record straight, explaining why she was unable to attend the event.
“Y’all. I think the rumors are true. Boots are on the ground and [Ariana Madix] is NOT at Sandoval’s show,” the fan had written.
“I just got back to LA from FL last night after a very devastating family emergency. [I] am taking it easy and practicing self care,” Ariana replied. “We are very much together and in love. You never know what someone is going through so this stuff is honestly quite rude given the REAL situation.”
As Pump Rules fans may have seen, Tom and Ariana were also faced with split rumors weeks ago after Ariana shared a cryptic message on her Instagram page and said that “so much has changed” with one image that featured Tom and another that did not.
But after denying the post was “cryptic,” Ariana seemingly shot down the idea of a split between her and Tom and clarified that she had discussed her “sad life change” on a specific episode of her podcast, Earth to Ariana, titled “Charlotte Forever,” in which she discussed the loss of her dog.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime in early 2023.
