Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Kathryn Edwards has been faithfully keeping up with the show after her one-season stint. After seeing the current season play out, Kathryn is expressing her disappointment in her former friend, Lisa Rinna, and her “delusional” behavior.

Speaking with podcaster David Yontef on Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Kathryn revealed that she has watched the season 12 RHOBH reunion, and she found the discord between the cast “ugly,” describing it as “45 minutes that I’ll never get back.”

Kathryn also spoke about how much Lisa has changed since joining RHOBH, and she thinks she’s too far “gone” to come back from the villainous character she’s painted herself into.

“I really, truly do not recognize in any way, shape, or form, Lisa Rinna as I knew her before,” Kathryn said. “She’s gone. I thought she was a really great girl before. I can’t say that now.”

The RHOBH alum also agreed with fellow ex-housewife Denise Richards, who recently called out Lisa’s past “vile” and “cruel” behavior on Instagram, and she said she’s not here for Lisa blaming her behavior on the passing of her mother, Lois.

“I don’t buy the whole, her mom’s death, brought her [to be] this kind of maniac, you know, delusional character that she is now. This was going on long before Lois passed. She’s too deep into it. She’s too deep into everything that she’s done.”

Kathryn also took the time to address Lisa’s husband, Harry Hamlin, and whether or not he and Lisa are in on her antics, calling it “weird” and labeling Lisa a “nut job.”

“You’re in on looking like a nut job. Okay, good for you,” Kathryn said. “But this is at a whole different level of anything I’ve seen before. I’m really curious how her husband feels about her or if he’s aware of any of this or does he just not have a clue.”

Kathryn also mused that Lisa really does care about being “liked” by the Real Housewives audience regardless of what she portrays to the public.

“I don’t really believe that [being liked] doesn’t bother her. I could be dead wrong. Maybe it doesn’t, maybe that’s where she’s at now. It’s just part of the doing the show.”

Kathryn continued, “It’s like she’s priding herself on being hated. And I don’t think anyone wants that. Right?”

Regardless of Lisa’s divisive behavior, Kathryn believes she will be asked back to the show as she’s ratings gold.

“I do think she’s made a lot of money from being, you know, her personality and everything… I don’t think she’s gonna [get fired], I don’t. I think she stays on.”

Kathryn went to reveal that she finds Lisa and Erika Jayne’s friendship cringey and “the worst.”

“The two of them together is just oh, with the way they talk, and they finish each other[‘s sentences]. Yeah. Oh my gosh, it’s the worst for me. I just cringe. Like, I wanna close my ears just to not hear it and turn away,” she continued.

Kathryn also wonders if production is in cahoots with Lisa, and she claims that the producers don’t just “wing” every episode. She also added that she knows for a fact that Bravo has worked with Lisa exclusively in the past.

“I really wonder [because] I know that in the one little bit that I did, I know for a fact that they were working with her. I saw it, I heard it, them talking to her and I said to her, ‘Whatever they’re paying you, it’s not enough. And she like, ‘I know right?’” Kathryn revealed. “Maybe they tell her ‘We’re gonna pay you. We’re gonna make it okay for you…’ it’s the perfect example of her saying, ‘Okay put me on pause. I don’t f***ing care.’ You’d only say those things if you know it’s not gonna happen.”
