RHOC's Kelly Dodd Predicts Shannon Beador’s Relationship “Won’t Last,” Claims She “Pays for Everything” and Shades How She's Allegedly “Treated” by John

Kelly Dodd is opening up about Shannon Beador’s relationship with John Janssen, and she shared her prediction that it won’t last. In a July episode of Watch What Happens Live, Shannon’s friend Jeff Lewis revealed the same prediction, triggering a series of unhappy text messages from the Real Housewives of Orange County star.

Kelly and Shannon appeared to hit a bump when Kelly’s husband Rick Leventhal shared a story concerning John. According to the former Fox News correspondent, John revealed details about Tamra Judge’s intimate life with husband Eddie Judge.

On December 9, Kelly reacted to a Reality Blurb headline referencing Jeff’s prediction that Shannon’s relationship won’t last.

“Of course it won’t last!!” exclaimed Kelly in a comment posted on Instagram. “He hasn’t bought her one thing or taken her on one vacation!!”

The Rick & Kelly Show host also added, “She pays for everything.” But according to Kelly, John provides “support” to her “in this toxic environment.”

“Shannon deserves happiness and true love,” Kelly continued. “Too bad she’s selling herself short and showing her kids that it’s ok to be treated this way.”

Many fans are calling for Kelly’s RHOC return, but others believe she’s too controversial. In previous seasons, the star brought huge drama to the show as she released her unfiltered thoughts.

Now that Tamra and Vicki Gunvalson — who are both controversial in their own right — were asked to film for season 17, viewers wonder if Kelly’s return is perhaps in the cards. As of now, Vicki is showcased as a guest while Tamra reclaimed her orange.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 is expected to air in early 2023 on Bravo.
