Get ready, little girls (and boys)! Mary Cosby is officially making her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

According to new sources, Mary has not been cast as a full-time Housewife, but she will “film a few scenes” in a recurring “friend of” role.

“Mary wanted to come back,” an insider told Page Six.

Viewers last saw Mary in season two of RHOSLC, where she had a rough time dealing with issues of racism and her church being dubbed a “cult.” Some of the issues stemmed from Mary’s own alleged racist tendencies, such as comparing former co-star Jen Shah to a “thug” who worked with “Mexican drug cartels.” More notably, she had a falling out with then-castmate Jennie Nguyen after past online posts surfaced of her mocking the Black Lives Matter movement, ultimately ending in her firing.

Mary felt as though she was being ambushed by the cast, and she ended up skipping the season two reunion and quitting the show shortly after.

“Jennie’s racist posts really seemed to shake Mary, especially after Jennie threw a glass at her on camera,” the source said. “Mary was grateful for the time away from the cameras, but she seems ready to get back in the mix.”

The source explains that Mary will re-enter the RHOSLC fold as Meredith Marks’ friend, as she’s the only cast member Mary is still in contact with.

“They’ve reestablished a connection over the past year and have been talking and texting more in recent months,” the source elaborated.

Heather Gay recently said Mary will “never not be part of the Salt Lake City mix,” and she confirmed that Mary and Meredith speak “quite a bit.” Plus, Whitney Rose recently revealed on her podcast that “old faces” were returning to the show.

Season three of the franchise ended Wednesday night with the second and final installment of the reunion, which left many of the cast’s friendships still fractured.

Ahead of the fourth season, it has been reported that a “cast shakeup” is on the horizon after a “dark season.” So, Mary’s return is a welcome surprise, as Meredith previously claimed the show needed “[new] people to bridge the gap” between the “divided” women.

RHOSLC OGs Meredith, Heather, Whitney, and Lisa Barlow have all reportedly held onto their full-time spots. However, the insider says the fates of “friends of” Angie Harrington, Danna Bui-Negrete, and Angie Katsanevas still hang in the air.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is currently slated to begin production on season four on February 13.
