Raquel Leviss has filed a restraining order against Scheana Shay.

Following reports claiming Scheana allegedly punched Raquel in the face after learning of her reported six-month affair with their friend Ariana Madix‘s longtime boyfriendTom Sandoval, in New York City last week, court documents confirmed the Vanderpump Rules star’s filing as she offered a public apology.

In a screenshot of the filing, shared by Bravo Snark Side on Instagram, it was revealed that Raquel filed her Civil Harassment Prevention case against Scheana at the Van Nuys Courthouse East on March 7, and a restraining order hearing has been set for March 29 at 8:30 a.m.

According to a report from PEOPLE, Raquel made her request to the Los Angeles Superior Court. And while the reason behind her filing has not been clarified, an insider told the outlet that Scheana “was furious” when she learned that Raquel had reportedly engaged in an inappropriate relationship with Sandoval.

“She and all the Vanderpump Rules costars have rallied around Ariana during this time. They can’t believe Raquel would do something like that,” the source stated.

And while Scheana hasn’t addressed their rumored physical encounter, Raquel’s sister, Kate, suggested she was punched by Scheana on Twitter after Charli Burnett said that “no one deserves” the gut punch Ariana received from Sandoval and Raquel.

“Nor, punched in the face,” Kate replied.

Then, after being called out for “defending” Raquel, Kate added, “Not defending, just also not condoning physical violence.”

As Raquel prepares to face off with Scheana in court, she’s shared a statement of apology with Entertainment Tonight, in which she confirmed she was “physically attacked” but didn’t say by who.

“I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana,” Raquel said in the March 8 statement, which came just hours after Sandoval shared his own apology to Ariana on Instagram.

“I am reflecting on my choices, speaking to a counselor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved. I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships. I am taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices,” she continued.

Raquel went on to say that while she chose to be on a reality show and has learned to accept the “good and bad that comes with it,” she has been “physically assaulted, lost friendships, received death threats and hate emails in addition to having had my privacy violated.”

In closing, Raquel detailed the work she’s doing on herself.

“I have begun counseling to end my unhealthy behavioral cycle, learn to set stronger emotional boundaries and learn to protect my mental health,” she revealed. “I don’t expect sympathy, understanding or forgiveness. Right now I must focus on my own health and well-being and as I strive to be a better person moving forward, I will prioritize my mental health and learn from my mistakes.”

Later, Raquel posted the same apology on her Instagram page.
