Kim Richards spoke about her return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as she attended the fourth anniversary of Sutton Stracke‘s West Hollywood boutique this week.

Following the sharing of a series of photos of her filming an outdoor hike with Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, Kim rejoined the cast at Sutton’s event, where she opened up about what led up to her return and addressed sister Kathy Hilton‘s possible comeback.

“I think it was really in the moment,” Kim admitted to Access Hollywood. “[Kyle] called and said, ‘Do you wanna go?’ And they’d been asking for a while and I kept saying no and that particular moment when she called, I said, ‘Okay,’ and I literally just said, ‘I’m not gonna make a big deal. I’m just gonna walk out the door. I’m just gonna go.’ And I did.”

And looking back, Kim said she had a “great time.”

“It was fun and it was nice to see my sister and Dorit,” she stated.

As for sister Kathy’s potential return, Kim admitted she’s not sure if her oldest sister would be back before sharing her hopes for their future reconciliation.

“I don’t know. I would like, on-camera, off-camera, I’d like to see my sisters come together and try to heal,” she noted. “It’s a great time.”

“We have babies coming and babies born and weddings coming up. My daughter Whitney’s getting married and her daughter [Farrah Aldjufrie]’s getting married and this would be a fun time for us all to be together and it’s really putting a damper at the moment,” she continued. “But we will get through it.”

Also speaking to Access Hollywood, Kyle reacted to Kim’s RHOBH return.

“It feels great,” she said. “My sister, she knows we’ve all gone through a little bit of a hard time … But my sister’s always make a point to check on me and remind me that I’m the baby sister and she’s there for me. I’m the baby. So it feels really good to have her here, though.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year.
