Vanderpump Rules is getting cringier with each new episode that rolls out.
As viewers tune in each week, the clues and abhorrent behavior by Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval are becoming increasingly apparent as their attempts to keep their months-long affair a secret are beginning to unravel.
In a preview for next week’s episode of Pump Rules, Raquel is seen giving Ariana Madix relationship advice regarding her sex life with her then-boyfriend of nearly a decade, Sandoval, and it’s hard to watch now that “Scandoval” has gone public.
The teaser opens with Ariana and Katie Maloney debuting their menu for their new business, Something About Her, and hosting a tasting. That’s about the only happy thing that seems to be going well for Ariana currently. The scene then cuts to Sandoval, who is seemingly attempting to try and put the spark back into their relationship.
During an intimate conversation between Ariana and Sandoval, he cries, “I just want us to be better. I want us to be more intimate.”
We all know he’s already getting his “intimacy” somewhere else.
However, Ariana feels that Sandoval has become a “stranger” to her, and they need to spend more time together.
“I cannot have sex with somebody who feels like a stranger,” Ariana states.
Raquel’s blatant betrayal comes out crystal-clear as Ariana opens up and confides in her regarding her relationship issues with Sandoval. The fact that Raquel can sit in front of Ariana with a straight face and tell her she should “want” to have sexual relations with Sandoval is mind-blowing.
“I feel like in a relationship you should want to have sex,” Raquel tells Ariana.
“You come home after working all night and what? You think you’re just like whip your d—ck out and I’m gonna be like, ‘Yeah, let’s f—k!‘ That’s never gonna happen. You have to spend time together,” Ariana responds.
The trailer also highlights the other relationship drama playing out this season with contention between Tom Schwartz, Katie, and Raquel.
Raquel continually defends her kiss with Schwartz at Scheana Shay’s wedding, despite Katie explicitly explaining that she didn’t want Schwartz to date within the Pump Rules friend group.
Raquel tells Katie that since she filed for divorce, it should be none of her business and insinuates she feels more sympathy for Schwartz than her.
The conversation does not end well, and Katie exclaims, “Are you hearing this sh-t,” to a flabbergasted Lala Kent.
The explosive trailer ends with Schwartz trying unsuccessfully to calm his ex-wife down.
