RHOC’s Shannon Beador on If She and John Are Getting Back Together, Says Her Kids Were “Hurt” By Tamra’s “Drunk” Label, and Where They Stand Now, Plus Talks David

Shannon Beador is single and she’s okay with that.

Despite having recent amicable reunions with her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, and her ex-husband, David Beador, and posting fun selfies on Instagram with both men, Shannon is revealing that she is not looking to rekindle any sort of romance with either of them.

“No, we’re not getting back together, “Shannon told Us Weekly on June 14 of a possible reconciliation with John.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star told the outlet that the two have become “friendly” after months of not speaking. This came after John “blindsided” her with his decision to break up with her after three years of dating. She also noted that “neither one of us is dating anyone right now.”

Though we’re just a few episodes into season 17 of RHOC, which kicked off June 7, Shannon admitted that it’s going to be “hard” to watch her former relationship play out onscreen. Shannon recently divulged that she and John split just one week after filming wrapped on RHOC.

“I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with,” she told PEOPLE at the time of the breakup. “I want it to work out. I’ve never loved anyone like I’ve loved John. But clearly, he didn’t feel the same way.”

Shannon’s got some “feelings” too. The Real for Real founder confessed that she wasn’t looking to lean on co-stars Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson for support as she navigated her heartbreak, and she teased some tension brewing among the cast regarding her relationship.

“I learned after having one phone call with Gina in season 15 to never talk to her about my relationship again. And with Emily as well,” she told the mag.

“I get very heated when people are talking about me and they don’t know what they’re talking about,” she continued. “So, when I heard that a bunch of people that don’t know anything are weighing in to judge my relationship, it’s just maddening.”

Shannon is also still reeling from her explosive argument with a “very litTamra Judge on the second episode of RHOC. Tamra began screaming at her friend over their fractured relationship, leading Tamra to accuse Shannon of being “a drunk” and a “liar.”

“It’s hard. I know that that’s not who I am,” Shannon said. “My kids watched the episode with me, and they were pretty upset about it. They’re like, ‘Mom, that’s not who you are.’”

For her part, Shannon says she avoids putting “labels” on people.

“I feel as though when I’m on the show that I will point out something unkind that a cast member’s done,” she explained. “But I try to avoid putting general characterizations out there about people’s personalities because it’s damaging.”

Shannon has gone on record saying that Tamra’s allegations that she “ghosted” her after she was let go from RHOC two years ago are simply untrue, alleging she has “150 screenshots” to prove it.

As the season progresses, Shannon says she and Tamra are able to get their friendship back on track.

“Once we did come to that, you know, kind of agreement that we are going to become friends again, it was just an instant [comeback],” Shannon said. “It was like we were right back to where we were two and a half years ago.”

Shannon also touched on her recent reunion with her ex-husband, David. The two ran into each other at O.C. restaurant The Quiet Woman, which has become something of an RHOC character itself. While there, the two took a selfie together, sparking online chatter that they may be rekindling their former romance.

However, Shannon put the kibosh on the speculation, saying that the only relationship she wants from David is a better co-parenting relationship.

“Fingers crossed…we have had a zero co-parenting relationship and I’m just hopeful that we can continue,” she told the outlet. “Do I think we’re ever going to be good friends? Nope. No, I do not.” She added that she will “do whatever it takes” for the sake of their daughters, Sophie, 21, and twins Adeline and Stella, 18.

The pair recently took another photo together after attending the twins’ high school graduation ceremony.

Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
