Bethenny Frankel threw shade at her “obsessed” former co-star Luann de Lesseps, who slammed Bethenny while promoting her new reality comedy with Sonja Morgan. Bethenny, who starred off and on with both women on Real Housewives of New York, has been accused of acting holier-than-thou since leaving the show.
She also addressed her negative encounter with Jonah Hill after the actor’s alleged texts with ex Sarah Brady were released last weekend. The messages have been described as controlling and misogynistic.
Bethenny added, “Also I love when people are [as] obsessed with me as she is, so I should send her an edible arrangement.”
She claimed Luann is “consumed” with Bethenny. “It must be painful and challenging and really obsessive to be so fixated on someone else,” commented the star.
Recently, the podcast opened up about an unpleasant encounter with Johan Hill, amid the recent allegations.
She went on to say, “He was put upon and kind of treated me like he was … better than [me]. I felt like a loser and the nobody that I was.”
Bethenny eventually addressed the alleged messages with Jonah’s ex-girlfriend.
“These texts seem crazy. And there are texts that I have sent to people and that people have sent to me that would seem nuts in a vacuum,” Bethenny shared.
“Where the line is in what texts and phone calls should be shared?” she asked. “In the past, Mel Gibson’s crazy phone call that his ex shared, Alec Baldwin with his daughter, that crazy conversation was shared … A lot was shared with Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and until they got into court, everyone was team Amber. So, I think it’s tricky to be reading texts.”
Though Bethenny explained she doesn’t “know the whole story,” she called the actor “a little nuts.”
“If you’re in a relationship with someone for one year, are texts free game, like fair game?” she asked. “Has he abused her in a way that she has to cry for help and she needs help and she won’t be silenced anymore?”
