Could another scandal have erupted amid filming on the upcoming 11th season of Vanderpump Rules? Lisa Vanderpump is certainly hinting at such.

As Lisa teased “another situation” and admitted to crying after learning her show had been nominated for two Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program, Ariana Madix said she was “over the moon” with the news as other cast members also spoke out.

“I am so thrilled and happy to find out that Vanderpump Rules has been nominated for two Emmys,” Ariana said in an Instagram Story shared by Taste of Reality. “We have the absolute best crew in the whole world and the best production, and I mean, we’ve been through so much, and obviously last season, you saw some really raw and some really raw things that we were going through and to have that be recognized is just, it’s such a thrill, and it’s such an honor.”

During the most recently-aired season, Ariana was rocked by the news that her boyfriend of nine years, Tom Sandoval, had been cheating on her with best friend Raquel Leviss for months. But now, months later, amid her new romance with Daniel Wai, Ariana is thriving with numerous partnerships and an upcoming role on Dancing With the Stars.

“I cannot believe that we are Emmy nominated. I’m over the moon so thank you,” Ariana concluded.

And in a video of her own, Scheana Shay was just as excited.

“Oh my gosh, we are nominated for not one, but two Emmys,” she proclaimed, turning to her 2-year-old daughter, Summer Moon, and asking her, “Summer, can you say, ‘Yay Emmy?’”

While Summer was more concerned with her bowl of oatmeal, Scheana continued, “I’ve been saying it for years: Our editors deserve an Emmy and you know what? So do we. Congrats to everyone who works on our show, our cast… We did it!

Taste of Reality also shared messages from Katie Maloney and Lala Kent about the Emmy nominations.

“If you ask me if sharing my life for the last 10 years on TV has been worth it.. the answer is yes. I’m insanely proud of this show and everyone who is a part of it,” Katie wrote in her post.

“Congratulations to everyone involved. And yes, I mean EVERYONE. Grateful to be part of this phenomenon,” added Lala.

On her own Instagram page, Lisa offered a congratulatory message.

“[Pump Rules] is EMMY NOMINATED!!!!! Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program! Congratulations to everyone who has poured their heart and soul into this show for the past decade!” she wrote.

Meanwhile, around the same time, Lisa told Extra TV’s Billy Bush that she was feeling “overwhelmed” and “so excited” about the Emmy news.

“I actually cried,” she admitted on July 12. “I actually thought, ‘How did a girl from England end up here and end up on the morning of the Emmy nominations suddenly [getting] that call?'”

“But you know, to get a nomination, two nominations — one for editing as well — it’s been such a long time coming, you know, in the 10th season. So, I’m so grateful … Sometimes people behind the cameras don’t get the attention they deserve, so I’m really happy about that,” she continued.

When Billy then noted that Pump Rules was “a beast” of a show, Lisa agreed and suggested that new drama would soon be seen.

“It is a bit of a beast — you’re right. In fact, we’re right in the middle of another situation right now,” Lisa teased. “[But] I’m not giving up anything.”

Then, as she refused to address whether or not Sandoval’s affair was actually a gift to Ariana, who is at the peak of her career, Lisa admitted that she feels the backlash Sandoval has gotten has been a bit much.

“I do feel that way,” she stated. “At the reunion, I tried to kind of get everybody just to kind of take a breath a little bit, but I think there’s only so much you can stand.”
