Lisa Hochstein is speaking out about her husband Lenny Hochstein‘s engagement news.
After Lenny, 56, and model Katharina Nahlik, 27, announced their engagement with a joint Instagram post on Saturday, prompting a shady comment from Lenny’s mom, Marina Hochstein, the Real Housewives of Miami cast member, 41, clapped back at her “monster-in-law” as she applauded boyfriend Jody Glidden as a “real man” amid her birthday trip in Europe.
In a post shared by Bravo Snark Side on Instagram, it was noted that Lenny proposed to Katharina, who he began dating last spring prior to filing for divorce from Lisa, on Lisa’s birthday, which fell on July 24 (five days prior to Lenny and Katharina’s announcement).
“When Scandoval has been quiet but then Lenny decides to propose to his mistress on his not yet divorced wife’s birthday and all Bravo fans collectively unite together in rage,” the message read.
After Lisa shared a photo of herself in Paris, France, a number of her fans and followers sent her messages about Lenny and Katharina’s engagement.
“I wonder if Lenny will give up his ‘parties’ or should I say his opportunity to get lots of young women around who are barely dressed in anything so he can have a good old look at them … You are much better off without him Lisa. This new wife won’t last long when another 20 something year old comes onto the scene. Keep doing you!” one person said.
“He will never give up his parties that literally his identity. The parties are cringe. They are just going to get cringier goofball,” Lisa replied.
In another comment, Jody assured Lisa, “Got you,” amid the engagement drama.
“Love you,” Lisa wrote back, also including a hashtag for “real man.”
Another person brought up Marina’s response to Lenny’s proposal to Katharina, who she previously slammed as “disgusting” and “evil.”
“Let’s talk about his disgusting mother’s comment,” they stated.
“She’s the definition of monster in law,” Lisa agreed.
As RHOM fans may have seen, Marina shaded Lisa in her congratulatory message to her son and his future second wife.
“I will be very happy that this time you are getting a woman who love and respect you. You certainly did not have that in your previous marriage. Good luck congratulations,” Marina had written.
And after seeing the nasty message, Lisa took to her Instagram Story to respond.
“What a wonderful mother in law and grandmother. How disgusting,” she declared.
Also on her Instagram Story, Lisa sent a congratulatory message of her own to Lenny and Katharina.
“Congrats to my current husband and his mistress on their engagement,” she typed.
The Real Housewives of Miami season six is expected to begin airing on Bravo and steaming on Peacock sometime later this year.
