Shannon Beador was arrested in Southern California on Saturday night after allegedly hitting a house while driving under the influence with her dog Archie in the car.

According to a new report, the Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, 59, who was “blindsided” with a split from former boyfriend John Janssen months ago, was out in Newport Beach when 911 was called. She was taken into custody on two misdemeanor charges.

On September 18, TMZ shared the news with readers, revealing that after hitting the home, Shannon was believed to have driven back onto the street before parking her vehicle and pretending to be taking a walk with her dog.

When police arrived at the scene following a 911 call, Shannon was described as appearing to be “wasted” before being booked by the Newport Beach Police Department on charges of hit-and-run and DUI alcohol.

Also on the night of the incident, Shannon’s car was seized as an investigation into the damage sustained by the home was conducted.

Shannon was cited and later released from custody without bond.

While it was not revealed what happened with Archie amid Shannon’s arrest on Saturday, she revealed her ex-boyfriend John had been watching him while she was in New York City last week for an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

“He’s watching Archie right now, which is very kind and we have a friendship,” she shared.

Ironically, Shannon’s arrest comes just days after her RHOC castmate, Gina Kirschenheiter, 39, said during an interview with Us Weekly that her drinking was a “problem.”

After being asked about Tamra Judge’s past claim that Shannon was an alcoholic, Gina expressed concern.

“I don’t care if Shannon wants to say she has a problem with alcohol or not. I’m not here to judge anybody or diagnose anybody, but that and her drinking is a problem for everybody else,” Gina stated. “And you would think that somebody would want to look at least that part of it.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
