Meredith Marks reveals why she was triggered by her recent car accident, seemingly shades editors for presenting it in a “humorous” way, and denies spreading specific rumors about Angie Katsanevas’ marriage – despite Monica Garcia’s claims.

On the latest episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Meredith explained she had a “rough few days” after her driver lost control in a “terrible snowstorm,” and it appeared like they were going to fall off a cliff and lose their lives. The photo of the accident’s aftermath, however, made it seem as though they simply drove into a snowbank.

After the episode aired, Meredith took to Twitter and shed light on her reaction to the accident.

“This was a hard moment for me. I was in a horrible car accident years ago when I was catapulted out of a car and knocked unconscious. I lost a dear friend in that accident,” she revealed.

Meredith then seemed to shade how the show presented her accident in a comical way. “That moment was a horrible reminder and is nothing to make light of. Not humorous at all,” she said.

She also called out how her accident was placed in quotation marks in the scene as if to suggest it wasn’t a big deal.

“Why is the word ‘accident’ in quotes?” she asked. “Is the implication that someone messed with the car brakes and tried to cause it?”

At one point in the evening, Meredith denied the accusation that she spread specific rumors about Angie’s marriage.

“All I said,” claimed the star, “was that I have heard rhhuumeeuurs.”

Seemingly addressing the same situation, Meredith tweeted, “The delusion is real.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
