Shannon Beador is scheduled to be arraigned the day before Halloween following her recent DUI arrest. On September 16, the Real Housewives of Orange County star reportedly clipped a home before she drove off with her golden retriever.
Her dog Archie is doing fine, and Shannon has joined an outpatient wellness program that contains an alcohol component.
According to an Orange County District Attorney’s Office spokesperson, via Radar Online, Shannon is “scheduled to be arraigned 10/30/23.” They wouldn’t provide details, however, about her current charges.
Recently, the animal control unit at the Newport Beach Police Department investigated the incident surrounding the crash, as fans on social media expressed outrage for the animal’s wellbeing.
“Our animal control officer looked into the incident, and there was no injury to the dog and no crime related to the dog,” said Sgt. Steve Oberon, public information officer for NBPD, earlier in October.
Shannon is continuing her work with castmates Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson for their comedy show, ‘Tres Amigas,’ though she will not partake in group tequila shots. According to a report, the show’s material has been modified following the DUI arrest.
On October 22, Shannon announced some news about the show on her Instagram page.
“Thanks to EVERYONE, our Tres Amigas show in Phoenix is now SOLD OUT — but we have added a second show on November 15th,” wrote Shannon and the @Tresamigasoc account on Instagram while disabling the comments. “Tickets are on sale now.”
While many fans are offended by Shannon’s return to the live standup show, others are supporting her efforts.
