Madison LeCroy confirmed the death of her father, Ted LeCroy, on Sunday.
Along with a slideshow of clips of the two of them together, the Southern Charm cast member, 33, praised her dad as her “forever superhero” as she looked back on their past text messages and Ted’s past voicemails, saying they would get her through the upcoming year.
“He’s the greatest gift, your memory will drive me forward everyday. My forever superhero,” Madison wrote in the caption of her December 31 post, which featured a voice saying, “In my opinion, he is the nicest person in the history of the universe.”
Madison also honored Ted on her Instagram Story with a series of posts, one of which featured a photo of the two of them at Madison’s November 2022 wedding to husband Brett Randle.
“No matter where I am, your spirit will be beside me. I know that no matter what, you will always be with me,” she wrote in the caption.
With a second post, Madison shared a screenshot of a message her dad had sent her.
“Reading your text [and] hearing your voicemails will get me through 2024,” she captioned the post.
“Thank you baby. Anything you want you got it … Love Papa,” his message read.
Madison has honored her dad on social media a number of times before, most recently thanking him for her crooked lip on TikTok.

Years prior, Madison shared a heartfelt message to Ted on Instagram, along with a photo of the two of them together.
“Dad, you’re still the one I think of first when I have a question about something or when I just need some support and good advice. Thank you for always being there for me. You’re the best and we are lucky to have you!!” she proclaimed.
As Southern Charm fans well know, 2023 was a tough year for the cast. In addition to Madison losing her father, both Olivia Flowers, 31, and Taylor Ann Green, 28, lost their brothers.
