Thomas Ravenel took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to announce the passing of Conner Flowers, the older brother of Olivia Flowers.
Along with a slideshow of photos of himself and Conner, 32, on a golf course and enjoying drinks, the Southern Charm alum, 60, confirmed Conner’s death, revealing that Olivia and her family have understandably been left “broken-hearted.”
“Former Southern Charm castmate Thomas Ravenel just posted a RIP post to Conner Flowers, Olivia’s brother,” The Talk of Shame shared on their Instagram Story on February 1, along with one of the photos Thomas shared of himself and Conner in his post.
On his Instagram page, Thomas praised Conner as “rare and remarkable.”
“RIP Conner Flowers 2/9/1990-1/30/2023,” he wrote. “Words can’t rightfully describe how rare and remarkable you were. You will be terribly missed by those to whom you were so kind and selfless. My sincerest sympathies to your broken-hearted family.”
Following the post, others who knew Conner left comments.
“Will forever cherish the moments spent with you both that summer. Gone way too soon,” one person wrote.
“Always had fun hanging with him,” shared another.
“He was a pure sweetheart. RIP Conner,” added a third.
Although it does not appear that any other Southern Charm alums or current stars have spoken out about Conner’s tragic passing, Taylor Ann Green‘s family shared a statement with Legacy.
“Precious Olivia, Robin and Garry… please know how heartbroken we are for your unspeakable loss. We are holding you in our hearts and prayers for the peace, comfort and strength of God to carry you through. With much love, Leslie and Rick Green (& all of Taylor Ann’s family),” they wrote.
