RHOSLC Alum Monica Garcia Talks Lisa Barlow's Lawsuit, Who Is Blocking Her From the Cast, and BravoCon

Monica Garcia has been through quite a bite since it was announced that she would not be returning to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The breakout star has remained in the public eye and kept people talking. She has also kept up with the goings-on with RHOSLC, which makes sense with her background running an infamous troll account. Recently, she reacted to Lisa Barlow being sued, and she said who she thinks is blocking her from returning.

As fans will recall, Monica was a newbie on season four of RHOSLC. Despite being a fan favorite during the season, she gained notoriety in the finale of RHOSLC when it was revealed that she and others were behind the troll account. After that, Monica was not invited back to the show, and she has also had many ups and downs since.

Recently, the news came out that Monica’s former RHOSLC co-star, Lisa, was being sued for close to $500K. Not too long after, TooFab was at a party where Monica was in attendance, and the outlet asked about the lawsuit. Monica said,I’m so glad you asked. When I tell you that karma is so real. I’m not even saying it’s true or false or anything. But this is what happens. That woman made it seem like I took her $60K ring to the entire world.”

Monica continued to discuss the ring that went missing while filming RHOSLC and said that it was karma.

She said,I never even saw that ring. This is the s–t that happens. This is legit karma in real-time. You blamed someone wrongly and lied, making it look like I stole from you, and now you’re having the lie on you for half a million dollars. That’s what they call ten-fold.”

Monica also talked to TooFab about returning to the show and who on the cast she believes is blocking her.

According to Monica,I think if Heather Gay wasn’t there that I would have a chance. I think that she is, you know, the number one person who doesn’t want me on the cast.”

Fans will recall that it was Heather who gathered the ladies on the beach in that epic finale to expose Monica. She also told Andy she has no interest in being around Monica.

Monica went on to explore other possibilities by saying,So maybe if there was like a cast shake up or maybe if it just came down to,f–king deal with it and this is what it is or leave, then I don’t know.”

She then said that the fans want her back on RHOSLC

“I think that’s what we need. I think the fans are so invested in this. They’re so invested in this journey that is Reality Von Tease, and I think that Heather needs to put her big girl panties on and realize this is what we do, and this is what the fans deserve.”

She continued,They deserve to see that bridge and how this all works, get the f–k over yourself, and let’s give the fans what they want … she just needs to pull it together.”

Monica then discussed BravoCon and how she felt the divide then.

“It was weird, and I definitely felt the divide, but I also think that it worked out for the best because we were not on speaking terms, and I think it would’ve been very awkward had we been, you know, doing press and things like that together.”

She added,It was my first BravoCon, so I didn’t even know that we were supposed to do press all together until I saw them doing press all together.”

Monica also explained that BravoCon was the first time they had seen each other since filming the finale. She also felt that her doing separate press from everyone else was possibly at the request of the rest of the cast as well as Bravo’s

She then said she has only run into Whitney Rose since doing the show, but they didn’t speak. However, people in Salt Lake City seem to support her. She also shared that many other people on the network have reached out and supported her.

Monica said,Honestly, everyone in Salt Lake is so sweet. I haven’t had anyone be mean or rude to me. Everyone is so kind. At the end of the day, you can tell that the fans are like,No matter what happens, that was incredible television, and whether we like you or hate you, you gave us the best season ever,so yeah, everyone has been so nice.”

Monica continued,I know that my cast tried really hard to make it to where people hated me, and some of them fell for that, but yeah, there’s been Lisa, Chanel, Caroline Stansbury – she was so sweet, the cast of Miami was amazing. Dolores from New Jersey was incredible. There’s just been so many amazing, amazing people.”

Do you think RHOSLC will be as good without Monica?
