Heather Gay was called out for using Ozempic after showing off her weight loss in a photo of herself and her daughters on the 4th of July.

After the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star posted the image of herself and her three children, Ashley, Georgia, and Annabelle, she was met with criticism over her use of the diabetes medication — and with compliments about her slimmed-down physique.

“The Gays love the 4th of July,” Heather, who was wearing a strapless shirt and jean skirt, had written in the caption of her July 4 photo, which she posted with Luke Bryan’s hit song, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).”

After sharing the image, Heather, who admitted to using Ozempic months ago, received tons of comments from her fans and followers.

“Holy Ozempic Queen Gay,” one person wrote, along with a red heart emoji.

Another person, who had not heard about Heather’s use of Ozempic, said, “Heather needs to share her weight loss secret.”

A third fan, who acknowledged that Heather was “looking great,” also noted that using the diabetes medication for weight loss was not without risk.

“The risks aren’t worth it,” they stated.

In March of this year, during a conversation with ABC, Heather admitted to feeling pressure to hop on the Ozmepic bandwagon.

“Everyone I knew was taking these GP1 medications, losing weight, and just bragging about how great it was and magical … I didn’t want to show up at another party and see all of my friends 20 pounds thinner and just be resentful,” she explained.

Heather, who had lost 30 pounds at that point, also confessed to feeling as if she “sold out.”

“I’ve given up the banner of you know, accept yourself. And it’s disappointing and sad to know that body positivity was all a big lie,” she stated. “It is better not to be overweight.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season five is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime in the coming months,
