Christina Hall’s estranged husband, Joshua Hall, is denying her recent suggestion that she offered to pay him “millions” amid their messy divorce.
Weeks after Christina, 41, and Josh, 43, filed dueling documents to end their two-year marriage, a source close to Josh is refuting her alleged “seven-figure settlement” offer, which he was said to have “declined,” as he breaks his silence on Instagram.
“She didn’t offer him millions,” a source close to Josh told Page Six on August 2. “They haven’t even started negotiations … If Christina’s truly offering him millions, she can send it in writing through her lawyer.”
According to a source close to Christina, the offer was sent to Josh’s attorneys, but he “declined it.”
“He said it was too low,” the insider added.
Although the insider close to Josh noted that he was “sad” his marriage had ended, they revealed “he’s excited to move forward” since he didn’t enjoy the spotlight and “never wanted to be famous.”
“This was always for Christina, and he’s happy to go back to living life as he wanted to live it,” the source shared as the insider close to Christina signaled Josh’s hiring of a publicist.
As Christina continues to shade Josh online, recently poking fun at a post he shared about “hope,” and previously accusing him of being an “insecure man,” he took to his Instagram page to request privacy.
“I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately the internet is forever,” he wrote.
“We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are,” Josh added.
In other news, Christina, who shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8, with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, 42, has refollowed her second husband, Ant Anstead, 45, the father of her four-year-old son Hudson, on Instagram.
While Ant has yet to follow her back, she joked about bringing him to one of her shows after a follower suggested he should replace Josh on The Flip Off.
“LOL that would be genius ‘ratings’ idea just sayin,” she admitted, via Us Weekly.
Christina was set to star alongside Josh, Tarek, and Tarek’s wife, Heather El Moussa, 36, on The Flip Off, but after the split, an insider said the series was “moving forward” without Josh.
