Fans of 90 Day Fiancé know that this has been a pretty tumultuous year for Angela Deem and her estranged husband, Michael Ilesanmi. She has filed for an annulment from him and says she has no idea where he’s been. For his part, Michael has provided subtle updates on social media and has basically said that his relationship with Angela wasn’t what he thought it would be. Now, he’s going into more detail about why he doesn’t want to be with Angela.

Angela reported Michael missing back in February of this year. She even offered a reward for anyone with information about his whereabouts. However, he soon came out and said he was fine and that he didn’t feel safe with Angela. From the looks of things, the two never repaired their relationship, and no one knows where Michael is presently.

According to Too Fab, Michael and Angela opened up on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? about no longer being together. Angela shared that he disappeared shortly after filming a tell-all for the show. She tearfully says, “After the tell-all, we got home, and my worst fear came true. We were home for four days. He was gone. He was gone.”

The episode then cuts to Michael filming himself and giving his side of the story. He doesn’t say where he is, but he tells the camera that it took him about 18 hours to get there. In a nutshell, he says that Angela got angry at him, and her actions caused him to leave. He also shared that he walked for hours until a friend picked him up.

He says, “I want to share my side of the story with you. After the Tell-All, you know, we went back home, and as usual, my wife Angie got angry. She started giving me attitude and saying all sorts of things to me. So it got to a point — I just had to leave.”

As anyone following this story knows, Angela has said that she now believes Michael was using her to get citizenship in America and that he is a part of some Nigerian scheme. However, he goes on to say he always had the best intentions with Angela.

According to Michael, “I’m here for the right reason, of course, yes, from the bottom of my heart, I’m here for the right reason, you know. But unfortunately, what I was expecting wasn’t what I met, you know.”

Michael then says he wants to move on from the situation.

“I just want to move on with my life. Enough is enough. I mean, no one deserves to be treated this way. And I mean, I want the best for us, for myself, but it’s just so unfortunate. I can’t just take it anymore.”

As mentioned, Angela has filed for an annulment, but she and her attorney have been unable to locate Michael. Later in the episode, Angela says, “I’ll see you soon, Michael. In a plane or a courtroom.”

We’re sure this story will continue to develop.
